could have been part of the Chinese military's readiness in the East China Sea in the event of an emergency situation in Taiwan.
pre-emptive battered wife syndrome from Japan? They already playing stupid and lying to protect their future abuser? The ChiComms don't need to practice to enhance their readiness.
If there's "an emergency situation in Taiwan", the Red Chinese bombers won't need to respond to the emergency, because they will have already been the emergency's cause.

Spot on.
Power FROM the people... from the Japanese people ... and to China, that is, indeed. The Chinese know how to abuse such silly language - typical communist lying and sub-exploitative language for the gullible.

You can shoot down a Hong-6 bomber with a sling shot. They are just Chinese kit version of ancient Tupolev bombers from the 1950’s.

Yes, but they have more bombers than you have slingshots. The chinese will happily sacrifice their people to expend your ammunition stores.

The Japanese tried that and failed. You will run out of pilots before you run out of hardware. The best potential pilots know better than to get into the program just to be fodder.

The Japanese don’t have a billion people. Communist states don’t give their subjects any choice.
To: driftdiver
They have 120 of these bombers. They’re ancient junk. Some have been fitted with SLAM capabilities though. Japan can take care of these guys, no problem.
Did you notice that they used F-4’s to intercept?

Western civilization will one day have to fight these communist parasites called chicoms. They are only slightly above radical mooselimbs in the food chain.

They need to, and do, practice defense drills against an anticipated American response in defense of Taiwan.
Japan is sending a message we ought to appreciate in responding to these drills: they’ll be our ally because they know it is in their best interest.

You can harldy call them ancient-it’s production continued into the 90s,making the airframes younger than most US bombers. The strategycenter article says that the newest versions were produced in 2006-with new engines, electronics & weaponry.

I’m wondering if the human fodder factor has changed any since the Korean War era. Will they all march lockstep, or have times and perceptions changed inside China? The Iraqi pilots certainly knew when to say, “Screw you very much, sir”; will the Chinese do the same, or are they still thoroughly brainwashed?
