“You can shoot down a Hong-6 bomber with a sling shot. They are just Chinese kit version of ancient Tupolev bombers from the 1950s.”
Yes, but they have more bombers than you have slingshots. The chinese will happily sacrifice their people to expend your ammunition stores.

The Japanese tried that and failed. You will run out of pilots before you run out of hardware. The best potential pilots know better than to get into the program just to be fodder.

(If you aren't part of the solution, there is good money to be made prolonging the problem.)

They have 120 of these bombers. They’re ancient junk. Some have been fitted with SLAM capabilities though. Japan can take care of these guys, no problem.
Did you notice that they used F-4’s to intercept?

Actually, in the past the Chinese army has found losing a few hundred thousand killed a completely sufficient incentive to back the heck down. Ask the Vietnamese, or a Korean war veteran. Hyperbolic yellow peril nonsense about supposed indifference to massive casualties is and always has been a delusion.
