TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A 23-year-old Mexican woman with three American-born children, including one just three weeks old, will return voluntarily to Mexico after what supporters call a harrowing experience with authorities during a traffic stop.
Miriam Aviles-Reyes, an illegal immigrant, and the human rights group Derechos Humanos say a Tucson police officer was abusive and called the Border Patrol without necessary cause.

(sniffle, sniffle) It always brings a tear to my eye when I hear about families who are forced to stay together.

Uh, I think the officer had plenty of cause to call the border patrol. Like you were in the country ILLEGALLY. You stupid people should all go back to Mexico and take your kids with you.

Aviles-Reyes went into labor during the traffic stop, and her husband, who was also an illegal immigrant, was deported immediately Note to self: Go to link and read the whole article.

Aviles-Reyes went into labor during the traffic stop, and her husband, who was also an illegal immigrant, was deported immediately - before she could deliver her son the next day.Well, that is a little hard core, they could have waited a couple more days to deport both of them together

What is Derechos Humanos’ stand on Mexico’s shooting and beating of people trying to sneak across their southern border?

Yes, but the kids are American citizens and can and should come back when they’re older.

Supporters of Aviles-Reyes say she was given the option of agreeing to a voluntary departure or facing a 10-year ban from entering the country. This is an example of a systems that is designed to fail. If you are caught illegally in the country you should know without a doubt you will never be allowed to legally move here. The whole idea of applying for residency from inside the country after entering illegally or overstaying a visa is ridiculous. Rant /off
