Being from the South, I know you must have heard it said many times that there are times when you should say nothing, if you can’t say something good. This is one of those times, imho.

My hubby and I always got such a kick out of Walter describing the gifts he bought for his wife. Kinda reminded me of my ex’s gifts. He he.
So sorry, Mr. Williams, about the loss of your wife, I know she knew along with us that you were just kidding and that was the humor of it.

Oh my. What an awful, awful tragedy. I am so very sorry to hear this.

Prayers for the Williams family. I would alternately cringe and laugh when he spoke of her. His love and devotion to the love of his life always came thru in his voice.
How blessed a man to know such love.

Sincere sympathy to Walter Williams and his family.
It was like I lost a best friend in Mrs. Williams. I felt like I knew her and loved her from Professor William’s stories about her when he took over the Golden Microphone in Rush’s absence.
I’ve always felt it was harder on those left behind when we lose a loved one.
She must have been very loved for the Professor to have her in his heart so often on Rush’s show.

How tragic. She was so often the subject of his monologues that one felt as if you knew her personally. And after a fall, of all things.

It's so sad. I wonder when she fell. Usually Dr. Williams subs for Rush on the last day of the year, but not today.
My thought is with him and his family.

How sad for Mr. Williams and their children.
He’s a super guy, and he always spoke so lovingly of her.
Remember the golf shoe story?
