I met Fred and like him. Let’s see a Thompson/Hunter ticket. (Not Holly Hunter)

Speaking of Holly Hunter, here is a laugh out loud interview in which the TV personality makes a fool of herself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbpUwx_YLGc

Here's the money quote, IMHO.

I’m only consumed by very, very few things. Politics is not one of them. The welfare of our country and our kids and grandkids is one of them.

Funny the hack "reporter" didn't use THAT for the headline < /sarcasm >

The reporter he refers to, has she a name? An email perhaps? She needs to be encouraged to make a correction.

“...by a reporter who wasn’t even at the event.”

Now, THAT’s journalism! /sarc

This whole thing reminds me of a comment President bush made in one of the 2004 debates, when somebody asked him to name the three buggest mistakes he made in his first term. His response was something along the lines of, "I did what I thought best, and I will let history decide if I made mistakes."

The media completely mis-interpreted the comment, but I think most of the people who voted for him understood what he was saying. As I recall, he won that election.

I also remember seeing a reporter for MSNBC reading the Supreme Court decision after the 2000 election, thinking that the ruling was in favor in Al Gore. The look on her face as she finally understood what she was reading was priceless.

The media really needs to get a refresher in reporting what happens, not providing their own spin as they report it.

The BS story is now in another thread from the AP. Much like the one from CNN. Nice that folks can see the whole transcript of what Fred actually said on this thread! Boy is the MSM worried about Fred! GO FRED!

Hey elizabetty,

Care to make a retraction for what you have been saying concerning Fred today?

Are you a big enough person?

I won’t hold my breath!

If FRED wins in Iowa, or even places well, the lamentations of the leftists in the MSM is going to be palpable..

They KNOW that Fred is really the only Republican candidate that can make short work of the massive propoganda campaign we are going to be facing next year...
