In a country where John Francois Kerry and a slip-and-fall shyster won 253 electoral votes, what possible reason do you have for believing that Duncan Hunter could be elected President? You answered your own question. I'm voting for Hunter even if I have to write his name in.

In a country where John Francois Kerry and a slip-and-fall shyster won 253 electoral votes, what possible reason do you have for believing that Duncan Hunter could be elected President?
What do you base you assumption on? The socialist media? The polls? The so called political experts thought Thomas Dewey had defeated Harry Truman in 1948 to the point of publishing it in the newspaper. These experts also were convinced Al Gore had beaten Bush in 2000 based on the always reliable exit polls. William Seward was the odds on favorite to become the nominee in the 1860 GOP convention but somehow Abraham Lincoln won the nomination and he hadn't held office for 11 years! How you can make such an assumption before one vote being cast defies logic.
Do you care who wins in November, or only who wins the nomination?
I care about a president who does not show a history of flip flopping on the issues simply to do what is politically expedient. Hunter is the only candidate who has been consistently Conservative through out his career. The other candidates have changed their positions on one or more issues to a Conservative point of view at some point in their careers. Either they are indecisive or disingenuous.

If your only test for the candidacy is, "Who can beat Hitlery", you are just like the DEMONcRAT's, "Anybody but Bush" brigade.
In selecting a leader for our country we should be deciding on who would do the best job, not who can beat Hitlery.
If our candidate CAN do the best job then beating the opposing candidate is a foregone conclusion.
My criteria for choosing a leader for our country is not based on party, race, or religon. It's based on who I think will do the best job for the country.
If I truly thought that Hitlery could do the best job for our country, guess what, I'd vote for her.

And you would be very surprised. Duncan Hunter would show what a calm and assertive leader he is.

I’m not bashing him. DH is my first choice. He will probably be my 2nd. I just hate to see a good man treated again the way those 2 were.

“Do you think Fred has the fire to see it through though?”
THAT IS EXACTLY what the MSM is promoting. As a thinking, Politically aware, Conservative individual I would hope you aren’t falling for their ploy.

You are dreaming.

I’m not falling for anything. I’ve seen what has happened in the past. I’ve listened to FT. If he’s your candidate that’s great. Yall might want to help him get some “fire” in his belly though instead of throwing darts at people who voice real concerns.

I may be dreaming, but at least I will hold my head high and say that I voted for MY choice, a conservative, and not the MSM's choice, a RINO liberal.
There are several Republican candidates that, if they are selected, I could support.
There are several "Republican" candidates that, if selected, I will NOT support, anymore than I would support a liberal DEMONcRAT.
Until a candidate IS selected I will support Duncan Hunter as the best man for the job.

I am a Duncan Hunter supporter and I think this is a great response.
My problem is that I cannot find the letter at the official campaign website: http://gohunter08.com/
When I email items, such as this letter, to friends I usually provide a link to the source to prove authenticity.

>>>And you would be very surprised. Duncan Hunter would show what a calm and assertive leader he is.
For an example of this, during this interview, live calls were taken. Some ‘liberal talking pointers’ called.
He handled the them expertly. I enjoyed listening to it and wanted more libs to call in.

You are correct, it never made it up to the site. It was sent out to us in email (the same way all the press releases are sent out) and due to a few technical site issues, the webmaster didn’t get it posted.

Duncan Hunter is his own man, not bought and paid for. That scares the elitist Republicans as well.
