HUCK BOOM GOING POOF (survey of 15,000 Iowans shows Rudy an also-ran)
NY POST ^ | December 29, 2007 | ROBERT NOVAK

....an oversized sample shows Huckabee slipping and no longer ahead of Romney. A private corporate interest commissioned a phone-bank survey of 15,000 Iowans who will attend Republican caucuses Jan. 3....showed Romney with 30%, Huckabee 26%. Sen. John McCain was third with 12%, Rudy Giuliani fourth at 9%. Fred Thompson had 1%, with slightly fewer votes than Rep. Ron Paul (also at 1%)....McCain was the leading second-choice candidate for both Huckabee and Romney voters.

Onetime front-runner Giuliani's decline has been attributed to:

(1) secrecy about his clients, and his global business dealings;

(2) rampant speculation about Rooty's porking his mistress on the taxpayers' dime and hiding the bills in obscure city agencies. At the time Rooty's mistress had no visible means of support, shopped at Vera Wang, and lived in a pricey NYC apartment and a Hamptons condo with a taxpayer-subsidized 7-man NYPD security detail at her beck and call 24/7;

(3) Rooty's asssociations with mobbed-up Bernie Kerik, Rooty's bodyguard, driver and Police Commissioner (in that order); Kerik was Rooty's factotum, the yes-man who signed off on the mistress' NYPD security, the man who knows where all of Rooty's bodies are buried.

Speculation remains as to Giuliani's pardoning Kerik, an admitted felon, in order to position Kerik in Homeland Security (a bonanze for Rudy's global security businesses). Kerik is currently under investigation for lying to the White House at the time Giuliani recommended Pres Bush hire Kerik for Homeland Security.

Questions have also risen as to Rooty's health when he turned his plane around and had to be hospitalized for a severe headache recently. Apparently individuals who survived cancer are more susceptible to viruses and such, that can escalate rapidly into more serious medical conditions. Rudy should be asked whether he might experience medical emergencies as prez. Medical research should be made available as to the health dangers cancer survivors might be susceptible to, including a cancer relapse.

We'll see. I'm very skeptical of this. How could this one poll be so different than other polls showing Fred at least tied for 3rd place in Iowa?

Regarding Romney. I can still remember the relentless media pounding that Ronald Reagan endured. The media absolutely hates Romney’s guts and refuse to give him the slightest break - even FOX News piles on. Yet Romney marches on with head held high. The cheap shots bounce off, just like Ronald Reagan. I am so proud to support Mitt Romney, win or lose.

Yes, that was disappointing about Fred.....perhaps it had to do with the numbers polled?

Ronald Reagan was a Conservative. Joe Isuzu Romney is a lying liberal RINO just like Ah-nold Schwarzenegger.

“Joe Isuzu Romney is a lying liberal RINO just like Ah-nold Schwarzenegger.”

Can’t you come up with a new line? You’ve beaten that one into the ground. You sound like a repetitious doddering old coot. Johnny one-note.

Hunter Huckabee’s firing and making a crack about shooting Mitt served to confirm everyone’s suspicions about gun
owners-—as a bunch of unstable crackpots taking aim at everyone in sight. Thanks a lot, Huckleberry.

Right. On FNC, it's all McCain. Carl Cameron is so pro-McCain and anti-Romney that he is unwatchable. The media is determined to influence the Repub. nomination in McCains favor and they see Romney as his biggest obstacle. Waiting for Rush to return. He despises McCain and will not stay neutral if this media blitz for McCain continues.

Bernard Kerik's royalties on this book have so far totaled $75,954.52 for contributing 11-sentences.

“Joe Isuzu Romney is a lying liberal RINO just like Ah-nold Schwarzenegger.”

CORRECTION---RINO Ah-nold is RINO Giuliani's buddy.

Arnold used Rudy's tax-exempt "charity"----the "Twin Towers Fund" to help Arnold launch his profit-making movie, "Collateral Damage," with Rudy and his entourage joining in on the gala premiere.

BACKSTORY Giuliani very publicly, for maximum PR impact--- mostly to to suckup to voting blocs and campaign contributors---- ripped up a huge Saudi check made on behalf of 9/11 victims. Then very quietly, Giuliani turned around and accepted big Saudi checks when they were made out to his consulting business, "Giuliani Partners.”

The original Saudi check was made out to the "Twin Towers Fund" Rudy's special little "tax-exempt charity." Rudy appointed to the Board of Directors Arnold Schwarzenegger and his then-mistress, Judith Nathan. Giulaini then referred to Nathan as a "philanthropist."

I wonder if the IRS knows tax-exempt monies were used to finance a profit-making movie venture? Appears "Collateral Damage" was produced by one or more publicly-held companies-----(1) Warner Bros. Pictures, (2) Bel Air Entertainment,(3) David Foster Productions, (4) Hacienda Productions.

Foreign Box Office Revenue: Not released (very profitable)
Domestic Box Office Revenue: $40 Million.
Budget Estimate: $85 Million.

Now the SEC might want to know how much of the $85 Million was from Rudy's "tax-exempt charity".........AND the SEC might want to know if production companies cooked the books and siphoned off Box Office revenue to evade taxes----without the knowledge and consent of shareholders.

If elected, Romney can be an effective president. So can Mccain and Giuliani. I don’t think Huckabee could be more then Carter 2. Hunter seems like a cipher and disappointingly Thompson hasn’t made his case.

In 2008-2012 we’re going to need a strong president. It’s no time for an Obama or an Edwards, and Hillary just might be a little too strong. People need to keep their eye on the ball. Which I suppose is asking too much really for FR 2008.
