Al Gore is taking a beating in France, where people long resisted the green message and the nuclear industry thrives for home energy.
Bloomberg's Jorg von Uthmann reports that the Paris bookstores are filled with tomes debunking the Gore message despite him winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
France's number one Gore debunker is physicist Claude Allegre, a former education minister and a physicist by profession. Uthmann reports that his new book, ``Ma Verite Sur la Planete'' - My Truth About the Planet'' - lays it out.
Gore is called a "crook" presiding over an eco-business that pumps out cash.

This is just delicious! LOL
.
.
And a crock.
And might I also add: As*hole?
Someday, Snopes will find itself in Snopes...
Should be "Their".
Al Gore's been ridding a losing horse. It may have sped up around the corner but it's not in the home stretch yet!
This old planet has been warming "back up" every since the ice age.
Why they might, and they surly would, and ...
What do you think would happen if all the people running around with their hair on fire saying we are going to all surly die were told the UN IPCCC had made a mistake and the problem was less than half as bad as they had previously thought?
why they would surly .... shhhhh don't tell anyone. What the press doesn't say is far more important than what they do say.
Like the hoax the seas are rising, they aren't, the temperature isn't rising either. More coming in January as the hoax that is the USHCN is exposed and the temperature data collection and processing of the temperature data is shown to be a mess and unreliable. Ever hear of the urban heat island effect?
For a preliminary look see read this.
How to tell a real scam ... I think you can figure that part out for yourself.
Well, I'm not French, but I didn't know I was a physicist. Cool beans! :-)
so yer sayin global warming is a myth
and it never caused any harm not even KATRINA?
yu frakin deniers are all alike not only did it cause katrina but a lot of moo cows gave up their lives to the ravages of global warming as well.....here, sadly, is how it all went down....
everybody knows that cold water from the melting icecaps floated out into the ocean one day see and it caused a lot of water to ascend into the sky....as the sun magnified this water it floated over the U.S. midwestern fields full of popcorn ..god it got hot..so hot that it actually popped the popcorn right in the field.......and well there were cows in the field next door and when the cows saw the popcorn they thought it was snow and they froze to death....
laugh if you will but its only a matter of time before this happens again......
This has been El Rushbo’s issue forever. Bet when he gets back after vacation he talks about the French saying gore is a crook.
Algore and his $100 million are laughing all the way to the bank!
So you’re saying the Limburgers are behind this?
Where’s the Mélissa Theuriau pic?
Okay, troll, let's keep this simple.
We all know that we came out of an Ice Age 13,000 years ago. Thank God. Before this, we were mere cave dwellers. So stop blaming us for civilization.
Look at the Al Gore poster ad above for his movie "Inconvenient Truth". Troll, what's wrong with this picture? Do you see it?
Didn't think so...
Even a 5th Grader knows that Al Gore's movie poster smokestack KATRINA HURRICANE is rotating backwards. All hurricanes rotate counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, troll.
The whole movie's premise is discredited on its own movie cover.
Ironic. As I said earlier--- it's off to Snopes with Al Gore.
BTW--- leave my friend xcamel alone, troll.
MORE EVIDENCE OF FRENCH SANITY ALERT!
Why stop there? He tried to steal an election, too, you know...
...The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the:-)
populace alarmed ( and hence clamorous to be led to safety )
by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.

Then you haven't really been paying attention. I'm not French, except for my last name which comes from my 11th great-grandfather, a Huguenot settler in Neiu Amsterdam. In fairness, a perverse, irrational and annoying anti-Americanism has held sway in European thinking for only the last two and a half centuries of so. Probably out of envy for American freedom, prosperity and power. Like all irrational ideas, it leads otherwise reasonable people to think, say and do stupid things. But it has never been confined to France, nor has it taken hold of all the French.
Oh I think he was kidding.......LOL
