ModernConservative.com has received a tip from a reliable source that may have election-shattering implications.
According to our source, an activist here in Arizona has been approached by the Ron Paul campaign; the campaign has requested that he run the Arizona effort to get Ron Paul on the general election ballot as a candidate of the Constitution Party.
Our source has requested anonymity, and we have agreed. We can, however, vouch for his/her general reliability. Our source also provided us with details that added credibility to the account. (Unfortunately, disclosure of those details would put at risk our promise of anonymity. We apologize for the unnamed sourcing and lack of further details, but those were the requirements that accompanied this revelation.)
We will keep you apprised of any new developments.
There has been a lot of analysis on the impact that Ron Paul has already had, and on the impact that he might...

You should have been paying attention. Saddam was publicly supporting international terrorism when the intifada started in Sept 2000. He made himself part of the WOT before there even was a WOT. That’s when he announced his rewards program for the families of suicide bombers, a cash reward that increased as the age of the bomber decreased. All of the evidence came from Hussein himself, long before 9-11, he was a supporter of terrorism against Israel, and wanted the organizations he supported to attack Israel’s allies, of course Israel only has one real ally.
Gee, anymore stupidy. Now we are going to have Bloomberg and Paul screwing things up. Or rather the powers that be.
Is anyone else sick of having candidates pushed on them and the outrageous games that are being played to elect the powers that be candidate whoever that might be? One thing for sure is the candidate will have to be an America hater, sell their soul to the devil, do nothing for the country, egotistical brat who loves power and money so much they don’t mind being a front.
Also, I am frighted at the prospect of detention centers being built in this country with no clear intention to the public as to why.
“I’ve only fired one a couple of times in my life. I’ve never gotten around to killing anything.”
— Ron Paul, on guns
Going to be a VERY interesting weekend.
The others don't have the name recognition that Chris does. He is also doing fairly well with funds. No doubt however, his bid is a longshot. That hasn't stoped me from volunteering, Peden is a VAST improvement over the aPAULogist surrender monkey
Well, that's Leftist talking point #1. First, there's this. Second, did the police stop looking for murderers because they were looking for Ted Bundy?
I could throw a million things at you about Saddam, but the bottom line is there was a connection and there didn't need to be anyway.
15 of the 19 high jackers came from Saudi Arabia
Leftist talking point #2.
So you opposed the invasion of Afghanistan? None of them were from Afghanistan. Should we invade Saudi Arabia? How about Egypt? Johnny Walker Lindh was from Marin County, Richard Reed was from Britain and one of Al Qaida's current video spokescritters is from Australia. Shall we invade those places? If not, what bearing does the nationality of hijackers (especially hijackers who were in open rebellion against their own governments) have on whether Iraq was a threat to the United States and her interests?
and there were no WMD in Iraq
Leftist talking point #3. Congratualtions, you achieved the hat trick. Cindy Sheehan would be proud.
I think any reasonable person would have to agree that the consensus of the world intel community was that Saddam had these weapons available and had used them. That consensus had been in place for some time and Saddam's actions with the inspectors seemed to make it clear that he was hiding something. Now, let's say you're the Commander-in Chief and you believe this guy's building these weapons and that they might be stolen by or passed to Al Qaida and used in an American city. What's your call? And if Bush had stayed out of Iraq so we could hunt OBL and a chemical or nuclear weapon had been used on American soil, what would you have said about Bush? Would you have praised him for his restrained leadership even though it cost thousands or hundreds of thousands of American lives, or would you be just spouting leftist talking points about how at least Bill Clinton knew how to handle Saddam's WMDs?
both the CIA and the DIA concluded that there was no evidence to support these claims
The same guys who told us there were billions of liters of WMDs in Iraq? Again, the same question about relying on the intel picture you have comes into play. If hijackers trained at Salman Pak had pulled off a second September 11th, would you have said, "Well, that sucks, but that great guy President Bush should be lauded for not acting rashly"? Somehow I doubt that. I also doubt Saddam had an airliner around just for chuckles or to train anti-terror units that never seem to have been anywhere else or done anything else.
Find a new story.
How about this one? Or this one?
If this isn't a joke I don't know what it makes to take you laugh out load.
Well, your post was a load, and it was made to take me on a ride to Gullibleville, so your misspellings are very, very appropriate.
Don’t forget Saddam trying to knock off a former President, and calling for terrorists to strike British and American personnel and interests in the Gulf region. Oh, and harboring Abu Nidal...
I like Paul, but all the power to you for supporting your guy. I was involved in trying to primary out a RINO congresswoman here in Jersey years ago, and it is one of the most frustrating endevours to undertake politically.
What about Dole?
From your lips to God's ear. The other day a Freeper who liked his domestic policy ideas compared him to a perfectly baked cake with arsenic in the frosting.
The only other one I can remember is a guy named Andy Mann, who used to be a Democrat congressional staffer. I’ve already received campaign mail from Peden. No Democrat has yet announced for the seat, although Mann might be one masquerading as a Republican.
Regardless, Paul has certainly made himself vulnerable to losing his seat in Congress. Most of his constituents did not know him very well until he ran for President this year.
LOL!
No interest in editing Southack's list for him.
Is bush Reagan? Nope. Are conservatives who act like he's Clinton part II complete drooling idiots? Yep.
Well I personally hope you're wrong, but we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure we can agree that this is one of many stories that will make 2008 one of the most interesting political years of our lifetimes.
ROFL. I’ll wait for the official statement from his campaign before jerking my knee, thanks.
See post 234.
And just to reiterate, I can’t believe people come to a conservative forum and support the Truther candidate.
But you'd make your point a lot better if you did. And for goodness sakes, $hitcan NCLB from that list too. I know of not one person, conservative, liberal or in between who doesn't think that is a total piece of crap.
As I posted a week or so ago. Most of the signs on yards and cars in this area were next to Out of the UN signs and posters.
We saw this new trend this past week.
