My conclusion after looking into this and other matters is that Romney habitually violated any pro-life and pro-family beliefs he may have had in order to “get along to go along” in Massachusetts. Then, if pressed, he would blame it on someone else. “The Democrats made me do it.” “The Mass. Supreme Court made me do it.” “Other people twisted my mandatory government-dictated health plan.” And so forth.
Huckabee, in contrast, did it for the money. He is clearly a corrupt, hypocritical, money-grubbing pig of a politician. Whether that’s better or worse than doing it for popularity and political convenience, I leave it to others to decide.
Blah, blah, blah, 3 percent, blah, blah, Fred sucks, blah, blah, Mitt is a beautiful man, yada, yada, yada...
You may now carry on exploring the truth behind the legend...
Thank you for posting this. You better believe I’ll do what I can to spread this info far and wide, and I hope other Freepers join with me.

This post is a dishonest attempt at a smear.
Taxpayers fund the insurance premiums, not the insurance copays.
It’d be like saying *you* personally fund abortions because you pay an insurance premium every month to an insurance company that covers abortions.
Another flip-flop, another lie. I’m going to have a hard time voting for Romney in the General Election if he gets the GOP nod.
Have you looked into whether abortion coverage is mandated in the statute, which Romney had to sign for the bill to become law, or whether it was written in later, when the statute was translated into regulations?
I don’t know how it works in Massachusetts, but the governor often has no official role after the bill is signed. Bureaucrats can do a lot of damage after he puts pen to paper.
Do you want a choice between dumb and dumber? You could say on this issue its a choice between evil and eviler. In any case, Fred Thompson is the clear answer to these two equivocators. |
