Polluting the political process? lol

So The Only People who shall run for office are the ones that you approve of?

Got it.

I know that most of the FReepers still posting here are the kind of Republicans who are ok with the status-quo... but personally I think it is incredibly arrogant for GOPers to have the attitude that no one should run third party, and dare to challenge the TweedleDee and Tweedledum scenario that we have every 4 years.

Look where voting for "the lesser of two evils" has gotten us... the government keeps growing under either D's or R's, the constitution is being trampled, we're going bankrupt, and these things happen with either an establishment D or R in office. How much longer until some people wake up and realize that both parties have been taken over by globalists-statists, and by continuing to support them, you are part of the problem, not the solution? I'll probably get attacked or mocked for that, but one would have to be willfully blind to not see how things are going.

That is exactly why Paul has growing support, more and more can see now that the lesser of two evils thing is what has gotten us into this mess. And the ironic thing is... speaking of "insanity", what actually IS insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

So, if you want more of the same - more big government, less constitution, more open borders, less sovereignty, etc... then vote for the Approved GOP Candidate.

I hate to tell you this, but if the GOP nominates a status-quo candidate, he will lose. The only ones who are still willing to pull that lever are the shrunken base, and the numbers just aren't there to win in the general.

And whose fault is that? For the umpteemth time, it's not the fault of people who voted their conscience for who best represents their interests. It's the fault of the GOP for nominating a "hold your nose" RINO who will continue us on the same path.

generally that's how it works, that's why we vote on who we approve off....DUH!

but the Ron Paul paullution runs deep, sadly. He is everything to everyone that feels left out because their views are too extreme for the mainstream, you know the majority of voters. That's why racist and neoconfederates sing along side the antiwar types and the druggies the praises of the Paul.

In the paul all the lunatic fringe elements can come together to overthrow the present government or so they believe.....

personally I can't wait until it all begins to unravel.

Oh, give me a break. If you’re trying to say that any candate falling short of perfect is ‘evil’, then Ron Paul is just as ‘evil’ as the rest of those running.

The whole system is created on the two party process, even down to the seating in Congress. The laws of the individual States, legislated by Republicans and Democrats, intentionally suppress and thwart any third party participation.

I have petitioned door-to-door to get third party candidates on a ballot. I would rather be Sisyphus rolling his boulder uphill.

And the ironic thing is... speaking of "insanity", what actually IS insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Just as is the electorate voting for a third party Presidential candidate for the last one-hundred and fifty years with not one win.
