Jerry Klein is the Pet Liberal host of 630 WMAL, the conservative-leaning radio news talk radio station in Washington, D.C. During his Sunday show (yesterday) Jerry, who is also Jewish, narrated the story about how it came about that he does not accept poinsettias (as gifts or otherwise) during the holiday season. The story on how this happened starts years ago, when Jerry and his wife moved to a new neighborhood. The management of his new residence gave every resident a poinsettia as a gift, and Jerry, in so many words, accepted the gift but let management know indirectly somehow that he does not accept poinsettias because hes Jewish. Ever since then, in subsequent years, management has not given any resident of the complex any poinsettia. So, we can say that Jerry, with his political correctness in all its glory, ruined it for everyone.
Heres Jerry narrating the poinsettia story with his residential complex management and also how poinsettias became associated with the Christmas holiday:

Jerry Klein's actions are best described by this George Bernard Shaw quote. "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man".
You too Rum! Are you still here in the U.S. or are you now in your overseas locale?
Still here... having some problems with my visa. Need some more paperwork from the government. Hoping to leave sometime in the first couple weeks in January.
I would never live in an HOA city-state.
The trots in your dogs is a minor nuisance. The trots in my beasts is a call to man the lifeboats.
Reply to Quote 1 - “Sorry, but you need re-education. Such an action could be construed as ‘giving a Christmas gift’”
Reply to Reply - Not necessarily. If Jerry points out to the person he’s re-gifting the poinsettia to that he’s Jewish, yet he’s aware that the gardener and/or barber is Christian, then he can give them the gift without insulting them and/or without even stating the fact that the poinsettia is a re-gift, which would not be classy.
Three easy steps:
1) Take the poinsettia and place it in the car.
2) Drive to the barber shop where you know the employee(s) are Christian.
3) Drop it off anonymously or non-anonymously.
