Clinton urges Iowa voters to caucus on wrong day Sun Dec 23, 2007 9:05pm EST
DES MOINES (Reuters) - Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton may have shot herself in the foot trying to get Iowa voters to pledge support to her -- she is encouraging them to go caucus on January 14, 11 days too late.
At a rally featuring her husband, former U.S. President Bill Clinton on Saturday, campaign workers asked supporters to sign and mail cards that said "Yes! I'm an Iowan for Hillary" with their contact information as well as other supportive friends.
One small problem. In the upper right-hand corner of the card, it says "I, _____, pledge to support Hillary Clinton at my precinct caucus on January 14, 2008."
Unfortunately, that's 11 days too late. The Iowa caucuses are January 3 and organization is key to getting voters to go to the events and support their preferred candidate.

Her Behind is sooo big....
It has little butts orbiting around it.
:0)
Hmm...it’s not even the right day of the week...remember the old joke, “X’s vote Tuesday, Y’s vote Wednesday?”
X,Y = Republicans/Democrats, as appropriate.
Tonight, there is a Clinton staffer with an ashtray shaped bruise on their forehead.
Is that the day of the Nevada caucus? Probably used the same literature — didn’t bother to change the date.
I’ll give that a definite maybe. On a serious note, though, I wonder how long Ol’ Bill’s gonna stick arojnd if she doesn’t get this nomination? Not that he’s exactly her husband now anyway, but he’ll be free to make all that far more obvious once he sees she can’t get him back into the White House somehow.
Well, someone on her campaign staff is smart.
These flyers she sent out have the wrong date printed on them, but that has been scratched out and the correct date HANDWRITTEN in.
So, now those who receive the flyer will take closer notice, due to the date being scratched out. They will more likely remember the new date better, due to the attention brought to it.
When the flyers are returned, the HRC staff can call each one, and they have the ‘mistake’ that gives the common ground for discussion, and closeness.
Anyway, messing up the date and providing a correction before mailing it out (instead of having them reprinted properly) is a trick to draw the reader’s attention to the date, and get them to respond better.
OMG! WHAT A HOOT! FROM THE SMARTEST COUPLE ON EARTH....not!
Trying to self destruct so she can get the loser vote.
And we going to trust shrillary with the nuke codes.....at least the toon had someone else carry the case when he was “otherwise occupied”
Never heard of that deception before.
Psychologically I know you are correct.
Nothing is an accident with the Clintons. This will be used as an excuse when Hillary! doesn’t win in Iowa.
You watch. Any party shameless enough to claim their voters couldn’t follow arrows on a ballot can certainly claim with a straight face that their supporters couldn’t know which day they were supposed to show up for the caucus.
.
Don’t worry, they will somehow find a way to blame this on Bush and Rove.....
This cant be ‘cause she is the smartest woman in the world!HA FLAMIN HA!
