Qaddafis female bodyguards provocatively dress in Western fatigues, heavy black boots and shadesInteresting what the word "provocatively" means to some parts of the world.

Nice ladies, but horrible "uniforms". This looks like some shoddy, third class carvnival costume. Horrible. Lybia drops the ball.

He doesn’t pass as an Arab for me. A “good” Arab leader, worth his salt, needs a moustache at least. The “religious” ones have beard, the “seculars” at least a tiny moustache.
Mubarak gets an exception, but only because he usually dresses in Western suits anyway.
Ghaddafi looks like a mutt. Also never, ever, wear uniforms and visor caps with long hair... damn, he is sooo unsnazzy.

Faces uncovered *IS* provocative to that part of the world. But of course *WE* are right to throw conniption fits about bared human breasts in public or on TV!

This year a well guarded Gaddafi traveled to Accra, Ghana for a meeting of the African Union where continental citizenship and continental government were on the agenda.
