I’m not sure I’d want his endorsement. Smith is erratic, to say the least. Of course, at least he isn’t a Judas like Tancredo.

Bob Smith endorsed Ho Chi Kerry in 2004.

He’s gotten a few good endorsements from some great conservatives and some all around great people. I’m most impressed with Chuck Yeager. Michael Reagan really lays it out nicely when he speaks about Duncan Hunter being the most like his father.

Hunter’s a great guy, but why isn’t he criss-crossing Iowa in a bus like Fred? He need to get above 5% in some poll to be taken seriously.

He’s here in Michigan using the Reagan playbook. This election isn’t playing out like they have in the past. Hunter has already said that Iowa is a two man race between the Huckster and Romney so he’s not wasting money there.

Bob Smith endorsed Ho Chi Kerry in 2004.

He's done worse; he endorsed George W. Bush in 2000.

Yeah, the traitor, Ho Chi Kerry, was better than Bush.

Whatever.

Former GOP Sen. Bob Smith endorses Kerry

Bob Smith is one of the biggest sore losers on the planet.

It was a joke, Captain Obvious.

The point was he's also endorsed candidates that you no doubt voted for. Or did you vote for Kerry?

So, according to you, an endorsement of Kerry is better than an endorsement for Bush.

I'm sure Bin laden would agree.

If Fred’s campaign is anemic, Duncan’s is comatose. Is it him or the media? He just doesn’t get any attention.

In 2004, Smith endorsed John Kerry for president, citing the growing federal deficit and Kerry’s plan to balance the federal budget.

So he knows he screwed up. Reagan voted for FDR.

It’s a minor endorsement, since Smith now lives in Florida, but it should help among some voters.

Thanks. Yup, I agree. I was shocked at the link of some other members that endorsed Kerry, namely former KY Sen. Marlow Cook. Wow, he must’ve lost his mind. The rest were a who’s who of liberal RINO moonbats that never did anything for the GOP, such as the vicious Jew-hating leftist Reps Pete McCloskey & Paul Findley, AL’s John Hall Buchanan (who went from being a Goldwaterite to a Jesse Jackson liberal in the span of a dozen years), ex-Govs. Elmer Anderson of MN, Linwood Holton of VA (the father-in-law of Tim Kaine), and lastly the termite of Michigan, Bill Milliken, who was George Romney’s lieutenant and took his marching orders from Coleman Young for the bulk of his tenure. Despicable people all around.

Another RINO to support Kerry was former Delaware Governor Russell Peterson, who was going to run for the U.S. Senate in 1972. Problem was, Congressman Pete DuPont also planned on running, so Richard Nixon persuaded the elderly Caleb Boggs to reluctantly seek another term, and he was narrowly defeated by the more aggressive Joseph Biden.

I thought I’d add a little history to the post.

Always nice to hear from Senator Smith.

Can't help but wonder how the current interest rate climate is impacting the used car business though...
