“Would Jesus hire Ed Rollins?”

Apparently Huckabee thinks so. But here is betting that Jesus would not be elected President, even if he did.

I liked Huck until I figured him out.... riding a vehicle of Christian into Iowa. That is some slimey calculating on his part.

Not a Christian Faith thing, but playing Politics with Christianity.

“The MSM has a vested interest in trying to push the candidate on the GOP they think has the best chance of losing”

I think the media likes Huckabee not so much because they think he can’t beat the Dems, but because it doesn’t matter if he does. He’s a liberal. They like him.

As for Rush, this guy has done more for the conservative movement than nearly anyone. His opinion carries great weight. It would be very helpful to us conservatives if he would come out against Huckabee.

Huckabee is a caricature of the Republican party. The drive bys love him because they perceive conservatives as hayseed hicks who would do anything for Jesus. They salivate at the thought of Hillary running against him. He would be a total embarrassment to most GOP voters and many, many would stay home rather than vote for some televangelist Preacher type.

Rush has 20 million listeners.

20. Million. Listeners.

I listen to Rush every day, and have so since he first went on the air 19 years ago. My honest opinion is that Rush is as thin skinned as is the Huckabee campaign.

The Huckster operative was anonymous, but Rollins today seemed to second the sentiment. That is why Rush now thinks it actually was a Huckster.

OOH, did you get your on the shoulder chip feelings hurt because someone questions The Hucksters FEEL GOOD stances on issues that directly confront this country.

James Earl Goobers Carter spouted the same Bull Shiite and many uninformed so Called Christians bit off and voted for this anti American Socialists guy’s feel good rhetoric.

The bible teaches those Christians who take the time to study the greatest book ever written that we should all be weary of false prophets coming in all persuasions.

The Huckster is a politician first and a Baptist preacher second.

Yes the Huckster is good with the one liners but then again so was Jim Jones of Guyana fame.

I simply believe Rush is a blowhard and lost any moral authority he might have had years ago. Rush spends his time talking about a "drive-by media" when I think he participates in this more than any one else on TV or radio.

Total nonsense.

LOL. Rush drew blood if Hucksters like you are screaming.

I did not say I support Mike Huckabee and I doubt I will vote for him in the primary. I was excited about Fred Thompson last summer, but he has greatly disappointed me. My point is that it is laughable that people put so much stock in a radio personality who has one goal - make money. He spouts whatever will bring him ratings.

I think you’ve nailed exactly what Rush was saying about Huckabee today. And he’s right.

if you only listen “sometimes” how do you know what he is saying?

Me a dittohead? You bet. But you probably don’t know what it means to be a dittohead. Hint: it does not mean mindnumbed robot

Also, he does not confess to be the moral authority for anyone.

I have found that people who hate Rush are either liberals(of course) or conservatives who are offended by Rush’s confidence and just don’t get it when he’s kidding.

At this point, it’s looking like it will shape up as a Mitt-Rudy-Huck race in March, so my choice will have to be between Mitt and Huck at that point.

I can say this without equivocation - I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THE HUCKSTER AT ANY POINT.

Mitt, McManiac, Rooty - I will hold my nose and pull the lever. Not for HUckster, he will destroy the Republican party for decades -- he is Jimmy Carter without the intelligence.

I feel the same way about Rude-de as you do about Huck. I’ll vote for Dennis Kucinich before I’d vote for Rudy. I can hold my nose and vote for Mitt or Huck in the general election.

I’d describe Rush as ‘frequently right, always arrogant’. I don’t need him to tell me what to think.
