Pahrump is known for its legal brothels (Heidi Fleiss lives there), but most of the people in the audience looked more like ranchers than swingers. They stood five deep at the back of the room and listened politely as the candidate spoke.

HEY! Art BELL lives there too. I bet he’s a big supporter of RP.... /snicker

Our biggest applause line? There are two ways to interpret a fact like that: Either the Ron Paul movement is more sophisticated than most journalists understand, or a lot of Paul supporters are eccentric bordering on bonkers.
I chose the latter.

So where are the pics of this “fan club”?

Tucker Carlson is such a nerd.
And his subject is such a nut.

There are none, you didn't read far enough....
Dressed in red, her Dolly Parton hairdo and 36DDs at full attention, she sidled up to Lew Moore, Paul's campaign manager, and made her pitch. "Hi," she said. "I'm Air Force Amy, and I'd like a picture with Ron Paul." I knew right away it wasn't going to happen. "I've got a concern, I've got to be honest," Moore said, tense but trying to be nice. "If that picture surfaces, it could be very damaging to him politically." Dennis stepped in to take up Air Force Amy's cause, but Moore wasn't budging. "The mainstream in the early primary states is not moving in that direction," he said.

I didn’t ask for a picture of Ron Paul.

Interesting. Thanks for posting it. When it comes to economics and individual liberty, Ron Paul gets it.

It is. People who react to it with the attitude "Look what kind of nuts Ron Paul attracts!" would do well to remember that the MSM and "enlightened liberal thought" consider FR-style conservatives to be even bigger nuts.
A candidate who remembers that "conservatism" doesn't mean "forcing everyone to dress and act like Ward Cleaver" is a rare thing, these days.

Paul never outshines his message, which is unchanging: Let adults make their own choices; liberty works. For a unified theory of everything, it's pretty simple. And Paul sincerely believes it. Most Republicans, of course, profess to believe it too. But only Paul has introduced a bill to legalize unpasteurized milk.
Little things like this add up.

wonder how many aliens are living in Art Bell’s basement? Shouldn’t they be legalized too? Nah! Probably can’t work as hard as a Mexican.

Free Republic Ron Paul Ping List: Join/Leave |
It is startling to see these reactions from working folks and farmers, from college students, even that time when they stopped trading on the Chicago floor and cheered when Ron Paul ripped into Bernanke over the Fed.

Well the whole thing about legislators is they love to legislate (Both Reps and Dems). So they think up all these cockamamie brainfarts to pass laws on. In principle, I agree with Paul. Wonder how he feels about the criminal code? It seems more and more thing in it are coming under federal jurisdiction. Unless it’s a matter that involves venues in 2 different states (or between the US and a foreign nation) it should be under federal jurisdiction.

In every national election in which fiat money went up against hard currency, the hard currency candidate has won. No exceptions. Even JFK was advocating for a larger return to a hard currency standard before his life was cut short.
This is a recurrent political theme in this country. Letting the government decide the worth of our money and how much to print essentially grants them the power to determine the value of everything and to exercise control over all areas of the economy.
Purely fiat money is a liberal cause, a tool of centralized planning and the manipulation of currency for the benefit of the corporations and the elites.

I like it that way better.
You should be careful. If you start thinking like that, next thing you know you'll be asking to join the Ron Paul Pinglist From Hell. And it's all downhill from there. LOL!
