I don’t know, he’s making a lot of sense... Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul.....
ARRGGH ! Wow. Sorry, I woke up.
How we got where we are is one thing, reducing it is fine, but it’s certainly another problem with which we all must deal.
A President, regardless of which one, will not be able to simply wave his hand and fire thousands of people (Ok, Reagan did it with the ATC strike, but he had a good reason) — but do you think Ron Paul will FIRE the IRS? No.
Will he FIRE the Social Security Administration? No.
Do you think he will fire the idiots and miscreants that DO work in various agencies throughout the country whose very existence is the ban of all free people (for clarity, I am talking about some of these moronic middle managers who find themselves in a position of trust, and having money and power and who flaunt it, spend it, use it, and cheat tax payers out of more, and can’t be fired ANYWAY!) NO!
Is Ron Paul going to push the NASA space program to go to Mars? NO.
Is Ron Paul actually going to close the border? HELL NO, not if he is willing to “talk” to our enemies.
A President, regardless of which one, will not be able to simply wave his hand and fire thousands of people (Ok, Reagan did it with the ATC strike, but he had a good reason) but do you think Ron Paul will FIRE the IRS? No.
Will he fire the Dept. of Education?
I would be willing to bet he wouldn’t INCREASE those things. I think he has a quite good grasp of the Constitution and the workings of the government, and is aware of the Presidential powers and their limits. And interestingly, I’m sure that reversing the trend of unitary executive doctrine at the same time.
That last comment is ridiculous. We need to leave our borders wide open to talk to our enemies??
