"...and the Romans had a holiday in December to celibrate the Gods that gave them a good harvest the previous year".
"So whatever you believe the origin of Christmas to be, here is wishing you and yours a joyous Holiday Season".
Belated barf alert. For crying out loud, can't anyone get it through their heads it's a Christian Holiday in memory of Christ's birth?
He's just early for the airing of grievances.

“I got a lot of problems with you people!”
Festivus?
I read it wrong the first time. I read ‘Festus’ which I think was a character on the old TV western Gunsmoke.
If only,,,
It was made up on a Seinfeld episode! It’s not real! Just like Kwanzaa!
and what will it matter?
It's not a condom. It's a ummmm finger hut, errrrrr hunger coat, ummm errrr, oh yea, a finger cot!
He said, “pole.” Heh-heh-heh....
This cheapens the real holidays by putting them in juxtaposition with fake, phoney nonsense like Kwanzaa.
Not real? I’ve been duped.
“Not real? Ive been duped.”
Ya think?
I wanna watch the feats of strength. Or do I get to try those on city hall once I air my grievances ?
I never really got into “Seinfeld”, but I have to give Jerry and company credit for the Festivus thing. Making up a holiday as the peg for ONE episode and people start celebrating it for real every year? Are you freakin’ KIDDIN’ me?
It warms the cockles of my heart :::sniff:::
I hate that! They should do away with it.
The way things are going in the USA, they will eventually have the crosses back up for public display.
The bad thing is, they will probably have Christians affixed to them.
