This story was already known here for weeks, in fact it's been discussed on multiple Paul threads. This is a total non-story, Google news has 4 different links to articles about it, so it's obvious that the two-party cartel and MSM are running scared.

Paul has already denounced the white supremacists & if FReepers would take the liberty to read the rest of the article instead of tearing their ACLs, his campaign manager said the donor wasn't going to influence Dr. Paul and is wasting his time and money.

The objectivity and fair commentary on articles that has depreciated since Dr. Paul entered the presidential race is very discouraging.

I probably won’t vote for Paul, but it is refreshing to see a candidate not back down to the whims of the mainstream media or special interest groups, and stand by his principles of fee speech.

Paul's critics can't attack Paul's record or his integrity, and the guilt-by-association smears didn't work. They are now trying to get him into a George Allen/Trent Lott situation to apologize profusely over beliefs he doesn't believe in to emasculate him in the eyes of voters.

Cute props. If he'd paid the kids another ten bucks, maybe they would have actually held the signs up.

Paul has more support from blacks than any other Republican candidate, due to his anti-police state, anti-WOD, and foreign policy. These two kids were at a Ron Paul rally I was at a few days ago with other family members. So, I have personal knoweldge they were not 'paid'. sheesh

They are using the same smear tactics as those on the left will use in the general election to smear the republican nominee, regardless of who he is.

His motivations are different. He’s not motivated by anti-Semitism - he opposes ANY aid to ANY other country, and believes in putting America first. White supremacists specifically don’t want to aid or abet Israel, not any other country as Ron Paul does. It’s similar to how he may agree with leftists on the war, but for different reasons - he opposes ANY interventionist foreign policy, and wouldn’t support their pet causes like Darfur.

Better to come out and say that the guy is an idiot who just parted with $500 to give to someone who agrees with him on absolutely nothing, and that the guy won’t be getting a refund.

Yeah, but it's better to just let FReepers maintain their illogical arguments. Notice that all of the hyperventilating is coming from folks who aren't going to vote for Paul anyway. ROFL

A nazi became $500 poorer is how I read it.

Don't try using logic with the folks who freak out about Paul. They'd rather see a white supremacist scumbag with more money to burn on their gay site.

Honestly, making issues out of this kind of empty issue simply gives the donator and his cause more attention than he's had in years.

I sometimes wonder whether some of these freepers who post obsessively non-stop (including on Friday and Saturday nights when most people actually have lives) about Paul are actually supporters trying to make his detractors look dumb.

Ron Paul is a traitor, giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States in wartime. He’s a latter-day Copperhead. If we weren’t encumbered by so many rules and so much legalism, the proper could would be to follow that Lincoln did to Clement Vallandigham and exile Paul to Iran.

In a truly ideal world, we could prick down his name and those of his supporters (since they can cough up $20 Million) on a list along the model of the Triumvirate but, alas, we can’t all have everything we want.

The guy runs Stormfront, not merely a poster. I don’t see really how this is news. I posted months ago that there was a Paul contribution banner on nearly every page at Stormfront. How is it now a surprise that Paul received a donation from a white supremacists? I sort of thought maybe that was the intent of the banner. :)

Now the media has the ammo again. Fortunately they recognize Paul is a crank who can't be credibly tied to the GOP.

Then you have nothing to worry about, right?

Don Black is still around? Man, I thought that he was finished after his last round of bankruptcy.

Seems to me that some people should worry less about a puny $500 donation and should worry more about getting their own candidate some money to spend.

With an exception of a few of them, this bunch doesn't even HAVE a candidate they support. Two weeks out of the primary cycle. That's gotta suck being so milquetoast about things.

La Raza is largely financed by the Ford Foundation (their largest contributor). There is nothing “grassroots” about them.

If he did, I wouldn't be supporting him.

How's McCain's fundraising? :-)

Notice the excerpt job, when AP articles aren’t normally excerpted. If you read the rest of the article, Jesse Benton clearly states that the guy is wasting his money on Paul.
