Good place to bump this thread. I don’t doubt that reflects their internal thinking.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

LOL. Rock, a pretty leftist guy, was on the faculty at UCSB when I did my doctoral work there, but, no, so far I haven’t gotten to him. I’m reading “Talons of teh Eagle,” “Making the Americas,” “Economic History of LA,” and “Empire’s Workshop” for starters.
Yep. There is a good PBS series (I know, oxymoron) called “The Commanding Heights,” and they actually have De Soto in several episodes about how property rights are critical to help the POOR. It was a stunning production for PBS.
I was there in 1981-83, but don’t remember Fuentes. Do you know Lew Tambs? He was a UCSB grad and ambassador to Columbia under RR. He basically got me into UCSB.
Went to a doc’s office the other day. Picked up a “Time”..took out my pen and wrote “Liberal Bunk!” on the content page... will continue doing this... did it at a another doc’s office a while back...came back in a couple of months.. no “Time” what a shame...
I haven't read Time since the "Murder By Gun" issue from, what, back in the 1980s? I used to read it every week before that. But after going through the article, and noting that the vast majority of deaths were criminal acts, followed by suicides, I wrote to Time stating that their story was just that: A story, rather than news. I received (along with many others, it seems) a response from the publisher that (paraphrased) strict gun control was too important an issue for them NOT to try to push it. That the US needed to be disarmed, and they decided that the magazine was going to push for it, truth and honesty be damned.
That was the last time I read anything by Time.

No bias there of course.
/sarchasm - the gaping hole between a liberal and reality.
Less than half the country is truly liberal and yet by getting rid of their conservative columnist they in effect shut themselves off to over 50% of the USA.
Yet those who read print magazines and papers are 63% conservative to 32% liberal.
The Dinosaur media is on a slow death march to oblivion.
The New York Times called today with a great deal on taking their rag.
I told the gal that only when Wally World ran out of toilet paper would I consider taking the Times.
Time probably had not a conservative subscriber for some 20 years, so why bother pretending to be balanced?
I dropped my Newsweek subscription back in the mid 70’s ....
Have read Times perhaps 4-5 times since then.
LOL
I think this is actually a good thing. Everyone has a right to their opinion, and it's dishonest to pretend you don't have one.
True. And just think he put this memo out to his staff not thinking anything of it. Can you imagine what he tells them in private.
