Here’s your reality. Which partner initiates after the kids are grown? completely different than who initiates when kids and custody and child support is an issue. The government provides a huge financial and independence incentive to the women to gain custody and then be rewarded by child support which is owed her, and not the kids. So these cases dominate.(Republicans gave feminists the loaded gun against the family with this one.)
I bet middle age women with no skills do not regularly initiate divorce after running the family , and kids are grown. It’s too much of a disincentive. I am interested if you have proof.

I posted on this thread for one purpose...to agree that men get the raw deal most of the time. I made that point as many others have also. And the Facts stand nijada. You have merely interpreted, based upon our "feelings", that when a man says the courts take advantage of them that in your ears sounds like a bashing of women. And THERE is the plain evidence of the chip on your shoulder that filters your rage! You see and hear these topics through your brokenness, so they all sound like critical statements about you persoanlly, or against women in general. But let's face it nijada...I commented on THE COURTS...NOT WOMEN! THE COURTS screw men njiada. It is the fact of the matter.
I have also stated compassion here for those have been hurt, be they male or female and further quoted Christ, who stated that it was "never meant to be that way". Sin and sinful people are the real problem. But so too is unforgiveness.
Incidental to all this...I was reminded of an incident from a few years back and related it to everyone and noone in particular.

Madam, you cannot possibly understand what a kangaroo court the family courts have become since you are the beneficiary from such things.
I, on the other hand, have no rights to determine what I will or will not provide for my children. That decision, is made by the courts, state legislature, and other agencies.
If the tables were turned on you, and you had to pay 50% of your after tax income in Child Support(like I do) and other related costs as determined by said kangaroo court, without any accounting for where and how that money was spent, you would be singing a different tune.
I can see reasons, don’t think I can’t, but I’m wondering, if she can’t be trusted to raise your children, why’d you marry her?
