Yeah, if you want real News, you have to read the "Weekly World News."

I think news of Bat Boy et al will be hard to come by from now on, at least in the supermarket checkout line. I heard that Weekly World News is going to cease printing its hardcopy edition and is going to a strictly on-line format.

I had also heard that Weekly World News was really supposed to be a parody of the other tabloids, but that most of their readers never really got the joke.

I used to love picking up the WWN a couple of times a year, reading columns by such illustrious folk as “Ed Anger,’ and the WWN’s wonderful articles.

The people who put it together had to have an absolute ball...they sure had a great sense of humor.

Sadly, the WWN is no more. It shut down operations several months ago.
