The only medical professionals sued are the doctor and the nurse who performed the sexual assault examination, and the supervising nurse who commented on the examination to the press.

******talking heads have still been saying that the lacrosse players must have been guilty of something for what else would explain that this stripper/prostitute was not charged.******

They were guilty because they were males and she was a woman. After all, it’s difficult for a woman to rape another woman. Many males have been framed for the very reasons that the DLX players experienced.

It will never end.

"Last question. If Mr. Nifong walked in the room, right now, what would you like to say to him?" Stahl asks.

"I guess I'd say, with a smile on my face, 'Mister Nifong, you've picked on the wrong families. You've picked on the wrong families that you've indicted; you've picked on the wrong family of the Duke lacrosse team. You've picked on the wrong family of Duke University, and you will pay every day for the rest of your life,'" says Rae Evans.

Rae Evans is the mother of Dave Evans.

Agree completely, Eva. None of those 88 are capable of holding a real job. Let’s face it. Lib arts departments are largely holding areas for folks who really have no talent.

And, having seized the universities, they can pay themselves fat 6 figure salaries and just keep hiking tuition every time they want a raise.

So let it be written; so let it be done.

Time for that screwup Brodhead to pay for stabbing his own students in the back to appease the racebaiters and feminazis.

The lawsuit is justified, and we can only hope that it sends all of the defendents into bankruptcy! It remains very disturbing that the notorious ‘gang of 88’ continues to escape punishment. Maybe this suit will deal with them. Hope so.

Yeah, like "The three Duke LaCross members were Mangumed Brawleyed with Rathered evidence."

My generation still remembers Tawana, and not fondly.

SANE personnel never say anyone was raped or sexually assaulted. They never make such a determination. They only report what they observe.

Except in this case.

I argue the article based on use of the word UNINDICTED. I say, not a real word.

That means you weren't around during Watergate when "unindicted conspirator" was practically a daily quote in every newspaper and report in the nation.

As much as I detest Mike Nifong for what he did, I hold a special dislike for the “Gang of 88”.

They, in a newspaper ad, indicted and convicted the entire team.

And with one exception, none of them have apologized. The lack of an apology may be one of deliberate ommission (ex: several are too embarrased to apologize) but in other cases, several of the “Gang of 88” have stated that they will never apologize for what they did.

That, in itself, is extremely inexcusable.

I hope they put Nifong, the university administration, the Gang of 88, and everyone else involved through at least a solid year of living hell, and that they come away from this with tens of millions each.

“The gang of 88? They might want to think about leaving the US and hiding out in Panama.”

Unfortunately, this is wishful thinking. Some of them got promoted and some were hired by more prestigious schools. I’m sure Harvard and Yale are now trying to recruit many of the low-IQ racists from Klan 88.

They have tenure so it is almost impossible to fire them even if the University would like to (but the University does not want it - it is totally controlled by these diversity pimps).

“Unfortunatley this a typical tactic of the scum lawyers. Sue everyone and see what happens. The nurses and doctors will likely be released from the suit by the court AFTER they run up huge legal bills with no chance of recovering any of their losses or their good names.”

It seems you haven’t been following the case. The SANE nurse was an essential enabler for the hoax. She practically falsified the results and changed them as Nifong created new story line. Her comments and “analysis” were totally unacceptable. Her job was to collect evidence (e.g. DNA). Instead, she wrote some feminist crap how rape is about power and she never faced a woman who lied about rape -> so the victim must have been raped. It was not her job to provide this analysis. She broke the rules in many ways and enabled Nifong to along.
She clearly should lose her license and go to jail for her part.

“Hopefully they’ll get dropped from the suit. They had no hand in crafting the case or falsifying reports. They were just collecting evidence and had no reason to disbelieve her. And from what we’ve heard about her, um, “dating” habits there was plenty to collect.”

Stop spreading false information. Please read the the lawsuit e.g. in comment 106 or check the facts before making false statements.

As part of the investigation, the unindicted players had to give up DNA samples and were named in the school paper.

Wait a minute...isn't there such a thing as innocent until proven guilty? Constitutional rights? Due process of law? FERPA? Not at today's schools and universities, it appears.

To be absolutely precise, Nifong got a court order to force the ENTIRE team to submit to DNA testing (except the lone black player). He promised that the DNA tests would reveal the guilty players. When that didn't work he gave her a rigged lineup from which she ID'd her three "attackers".

Meanwhile, what was Duke doing?

338. At the same time, Duke Police investigators were compiling information Duke University’s records on the three renters of 610 N. Buchanan, Plaintiffs, their teammates, and relaying the information to Durham Police.

339. Duke Police compiled a CD-ROM of all of the identification photos of members of the lacrosse team that were kept by the Athletics Department.

343. On March 16, 2006 at 9:30 a. Smith, Duke Police Sergeant Defendant Smith provided a CD their teammates for identification entitled “Duke PD Report.”

344. Duke University gave the keys to the home at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. to the Durham investigators.

[Duke owned the house where the party was held.]

I'm thinking this lady is rich, has plenty of time on her hands and might be willing to give up a Mercedes or trip to Europe every two years

You are probably thinking of David Evan's mother. She is not a rich suburban housewife. She is a very smart, very connected D.C. lady who is Executive Director of the Women's Golf Association or something like that. She is definitely the wrong mother to tick off.

Actually she ID'd FOUR attackers. One of the three in this suit was that 4th person she ID'd. He wasn't even at the party so they didn't go after an indictment of him.
