Did I say I was Nancy Pelosi?... lol. I said I appreciate TRUTH. My parents pretty much lied to me my whole life, so when you find out the truth, you come to understand that protecting yourself from it is one of the worst things imaginable.

I earnestly appreciate your help and will certainly look into another search. That’s what I need everybody’s help for... Finding empirical knowledge, unfortunately (and especially on the internet), is a team effort.

I assure you that I am as sincere as they come. Beyond that, I will be as stubborn as hell... So thanks for taking the time to question me, and assist me in my search for truth.

[And your candidate is saying what?]

Psssst....wagglebee. This Paulestinian is all hopped up about other people's candidates. He thinks we belong to rival cults or something. It unhinges this particular Paulestinian if you don't divulge who "your candidate" is. Just thought I'd tip you off with a new method for having a little recreational fun. ;-)

It seems like a fair question if you are going to attack a candidate on his positions to explain the positions of the candidate that you do support.

But then again, the attacks on Ron Paul aren't about being fair, they are about ending a threat to the Neocon NWO.

You will note that I removed the apostrophe from 'Neocons'.

I am glad we now have the grammar police functioning.

I have been paying attention, and have seen the 94' Congress change hands when the RATs went on a 2nd Amendment fire sale.

The people spoke out and sent them packing, which is what happens in a Representative Republic. It's to be expected that one congress is more or less hostile to the founder's intention, but in the end, everything is salvageable, therefore, no need to keep peeking over your shoulders for Black Helicopters.

Hating your government to the point of irrationality will put your mind in a position to rationalize even kookier things, like 911 was in inside job.

The $6.4 million Dr. Paul raised. All of it from white supremacists, Truthers, and conspiracy nuts?

Never said it was. Point me to the post and sentence in which I did.

But they're there. And he's accepting their cash. And you're comfortable with it. No wonder Paulistans make me want to take a shower.

That will certainly be a great comfort when Islamist nutcases are running wild in the streets and Nancy Facelift and Dingy Harry are tying up our military by debating Mitch McConnell and John Boehner over which turn each American tank must make and how many bullets will be allowed to each soldier, the usual prescription for military anarchy and fecklessness indulged by the left and by the self-annointed "constitutionalists", libertoonians and paleo-ostriches. See each soldier asking Nancy Facelift (or Dennis Cuckoocinich???): Mother, may I? before loading each bullet into his rifle.

BUT, paleos MEAN WELL! Isn't that all that counts????

[And which candidate has stated that Islam is the enemy?]

Um, Tancredo? Hunter? That's right, they don't exist. Paulites can only toggle between Paul and GuiliHuckaMitt.

Excuse me, I should have been more precise, I meant major candidates.

Neither of those two gentlemen are going to be nominated.

I’m sorry to hear your parents weren’t what they should have been. That sucks!

And I will give you the benefit of the doubt when we come across one another. Just, don’t get condescending and rude like some PaulBots, some of whom are on this thread. It really does their candidate a major disservice.

Antiwar antiAmerican pseudolibertarianism is the cancer referenced by comparison as even you well know.

Apostrophes are not for plurals; they are possessive.

Actually they are used for plurals in letters, numbers, signs, and symbols

Isn't grammar fun!

Condescending? I’ve received so much patronizing—especially in the form of “You don’t know anything! You’re just young and full of ideas!”—I really couldn’t do that to someone else. And if I ever did, I would literally expect (and appreciate) a swift kick in the nuts. I try to be as humble as possible, but everybody gets riled up at times. The important thing is to understand that we’re all human (at times) and to always fight with a good argument, and not with... well... whatever else is within arms’ reach.

Thanks for having a little faith in a young, foolish “PaulBot” ;)

Honestly, this is my first day on this site. I was directed here from my regular libertarian website

Why did you come here and not some other libertarian or liberal forum. Free Republic is CONSERVATIVE, we're not libertarians.

Funny how the Paulistinians are always having to go behind him to “clarify” his gaffs. I was watching it and saw and heard it. I parrot nothing!

Cute namecalling. Unfortunately I didn't see the gaffe you were talking about. I saw him state a sentiment that I can agree with. Government control is increased not by force but through fear or wrapping oneself in the 'right' cause. If this is taken to its logical end at some point government will tell you how freedom and liberty will be defined. In effect destroying freedom and liberty.

This isn't just this nation, it is any nation. Human nature not only portends it, it defines it. But since you're on about what Dr. Paul said here's one or two from another gentleman that warned of the same thing. I imagine he was a 'kook' too huh?....

The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy

No, but if you like Ron Paul, it is likely you are against it!

So, which of the major candidates has come out against it?

What you described is how the Neocons are running the war, not the Paleos!

It is the Neocons who are in charge and have made our troops safety second to that of nation building, just like they did in Somalia.

Perhaps you should read the question that I was responding to:

Are we really winning the war on terror? How come nobody else is convinced?

I then answered with another QUESTION, not a statement of proof.
