DOOCY: So, uh, Congressm— you know, uh, Governor Huckabee is not selling fascism. He’s — simply sending out a Christmas message, anyway, just curious how you felt about that. Congressman, if you would sit right there in Des Moines just for a moment, we’re going to take a quick time out...

He's not simply sending out a Christmas message. These ads are gone over with a fine tooth comb. They move the camera so that you can see the pane behind him and if you're just glancing at it, you'd probably think it was filmed in a church. I don't care if Mike is God's endorsed candidate for President or not, but it's not random that Reverend Mike has cross imagery in his ads. That's why he's surging in the polls-- social conservative evangelicals are going over to his side. It's a very clever ad, but people shouldn't act like what is clearly there isn't there at all.

And Mike has made the suggestion that God is on his side. I get a little antsy when a politician tells me I should agree with him because God will punish me for eternity if I don't do what the politician says.

Please remove me from the Ron Paul ping list. He is seriously disturbed.

Thanks!

Why was a Fred supporter on the Ron Paul ping list?

But that’s not the reason Tongue was banned.

This is the reason..

Maybe freerepublic.com?”

And if it comes, Run Paul will be the first one to excuse its activities an assign himself the role of spokesperson/apologist. The man is beyond despicable.

"It's already well on its way, wrapped in a blanket of "Diversity" and "Tolerance"."

Yes, and I would add "compassion" to that list. And of course it is incumbent on the state to ensure the diversity, tolerance and compassion and requisite "care" that must go along as well.

Did you read past the first sentence of my post? Ron Paul may have been trying to make a philosophical point or issue a grand warning but even that is off base given the actual coalition of forces for freedom and for tyranny — the socialist/materialist/athiest/globalists tend to line up against the free economy/religious/patriotic voters). Ron Paul was actually commenting on Christmas well wishes from Huckabee though, in context, which is a funny place and point to attack him as a fascist. Do you think Huckabee is a fascist? I don’t, and I’m not a supporter.

What will fascism be wrapped in if/when it comes?

It will be wrapped in green, covered with compact fluorescent bulbs, and will answer to the name "Al".

I think Ron Paul would be a putsch if not a net negative for the rats if he runs 3rd party.

That said, I would not have trusted her (or most of her followers) to work in the White House, given their bizzare temperaments.

One of them was Alan Greenspan. He was the only one of the group that I know of that attained prominence.

Here in Houston they’ve been hanging out on an overpass I drive under on the way home from work with banners etc. I gave them a honk because I felt like honking the horn on my motorcycle, but I think they must not have been getting much response because they all started jumping up and down.

Part of Paul’s problem is he acts as if Facsism is right around the corner.

Another thing about Ayn Rand is she was good at pointing out logical fallacies, implied and expressed.

ronpaul fallacy:

Fascists wear flags and crosses. The unspoken but wildly false conclusion: people with flags and crosses are fascists.

Ayn Rand would have jumped all over Paul. But then, she denounced Libertarians in general.

No, he's not, nor is he selling fascism.
