Giuliani amd his handlers set out to religiously cleanse the Repub party----that flopped. Giuliani and company plotted to kick social conservatives to the curb and takeover the party----that flopped, too.

Giuliani is as dense as a brick---he still doesn't get it. Voters will NOT elect an individual who publicly humiliated his wife, who plotted to dump his wife and his kids into the streets, to carry on with a bimbo he met in a cigar bar.

How stupid is this guy? He doesn't fathom the disgust voters have with revelations Rudy used government funds to pork his mistress while paying the the NYPD to stand around and watch him satisfy his sexual urges? The final insult was Mayor Rooty hiding the payouts in obscure city agencies to keep it secret from taxpayers.

Giuliani's memory is undergoing an Extreme Makeover but he's still deaf, dumb and blind. He ran around NYC like a chicken with his head cutoff, grabbing guns, worshipping abortion, indulging himself with mistresses (soaking taxpayers for the expenses), surrounding hmself with crooks and lowlifes like Kerik, assorted child predators, and other losers, kicking out people like Chief Bratton who dared to stand in Rooty's spotlight........and now he expects voters to forget all that.

Sure Ruty had lousy judgement as mayor---but according to him, he is suddenly trustworthy enough to sit at the levers of the federal government. Course Rooty's global businesses stand to profit mightily if he and his handlers ever get their greedy hands on the federal budget.

Let us not forget----that pardon pen of Rooty's would be working overtime. Rooty's itchin' to pardon Kerik b/c Kerik is Tooty's obedient yes-man---his former driver, bodyguard and Police Commissioner (in that order).

Kerik is the guy who okay'ed the seven-man NYPD security detail for Rooty's mistress. Rooty wants Kerik in the Homeland job awful bad looking over FBI files and making decision to profit Rooty's global businesses.

Sorry, Rooty.......get yourself another life.

I don’t think pro-abort, gun dealr suing, wife dumping politicians who use the tax payers’ money to shuttle around his mistress get miracles.

Not even during Christmas.

Mayor, since dims regained power crude oil has doubled, countless strikes have occurred, and a vibrant, resilient housing has tanked, bring down world economies.

This date, in 2007, Americans are actually understanding the above paragraph.

A goldmine of voters, Mayor...

Rooty’s popularity dwindled when more people realized that there are other candidates who would be equally tough on the WOJ (War on Jihad) as well as have some degree of social conservatism... and the most important being pro-life.

Hopefully after Rooty Toot loses Iowa and New Hampshire he will go away.

Rooty will hopefully fade away as we make further progress in Iraq and the war on terror. People associate him with 911 (he mentions it every other word) and as our focus shifts to a challenging economy we will refocus on other candidates.

Personally I think Romney has what it takes to take on Hillary.

Pundits speculated that the WOT was the new social issue, more important to Republicans than abortion or gay marriage

Rooty Toot has NEVER understood that (with the exception of PaulPot) all of the other GOP candidates are behind the WOT and they are also far more socially conservative than him.

Electing Rooty as president because of 9/11 makes about as much sense as making Ray Nagin director of FEMA because of Katrina.

As I’ve said for at least two years, Rudy should have run for governor of NY in 2006. Or, better yet, senator against Hillary last year. He could have taken care of her for us then!

Rudy is maybe the best Republicans can expect in NY State. But he’s just not going to make it nationally in the Republican primaries.

He aimed too high. He blew it.

And NY is stuck with Clinton, and Spitzer.

Well, I for one could care a fig about his sex life and whether he’s into mistresses or ministry. It is his similar Bill Clintonesque philosophy on other matters that troubles me; the fact that he begged a judge to get him out of the draft and Vietnam. Not knowing the circumstances, I can forgive a man for dumping his wife but cannot tolerate a poltroon who dumps his country during a time of national need (and that goes for Romney too).

>> Pundits speculated that the WOT was the new social issue, more important to Republicans than abortion or gay marriage

Speaking only for myself, the President’s role in the WOT is WAY more important to me than the President’s role in either abortion or gay marriage.

That doesn’t mean that his stance on these social issues is UNimportant, however. I just don’t think they are pivotal issues for POTUS, because POTUS only has influence over them, not control. (OTOH POTUS has siginficant CONTROL over how the WOT is waged.)

Anyway, what sours me on Mr. Giuliani is his position on the 2nd amendment.

I'll be glad when this liberal RINO scumbag pulls out of the race and is no longer in the news.

Thank God we, and other true Conservatives, sounded the warning early on (like in numerous Vietnam war movies), "SAPPERS ARE IN THE WIRE!".

Hopefully, the "testing of the waters" by LIBERALS will cease to exist in future Republican races, since scumbags like RINO-rudy are thrashing about and drowning (and will go under for good, we hope) in a sea of despair.

Sean Hannity was trying to prop him up last night on his show.

I have been a fan of Hannity over the years, but I finally broke down last night and emailed him that I have since lost all respect for him.

I doubt that he even saw it.

The Guiliani train has de-railed....and it was Republicans that switched the tracks.

We don’t like having our nominee “pre-ordained” for us.

Rudy automatically loses 10% of the base. I am committed to NEVER giving him my vote for any reason.

The party is waking up to what everyone already knew. Rudy’s personal life is a train wreck of embarrassment. His positions on issues should be a clue to conservatives that this guy is no conservative. And his experience is now about 7 years old, and he’s done nothing since.

And he really didn’t do anything noteworthy before 9/11.

Hopefully, the GOP is learning a lesson from this and the rise of Huckabee. The Republican party needs social conservatives to win elections and that social conservatives aren't going to be satisfied with lip service and crumbs thrown their way anymore.
