There must be a poll out suggesting that Iowa voters just dont know the real Hillary Clinton. What else would explain the launch on Monday of TheHillaryIKnow.com, a Clinton campaign website featuring video testimonials from regular Americans?
Those regular Americans include her longtime friends and well-known leaders who talk about how their lives have been changed by the presidential hopeful.
The videos also include comments from the New York senators constituents, including a mother with a sick child who says Clinton worked outside of the view of the media when she helped her daughter get the medical attention she needed.
Clintons team says the videos serve as a stark reminder that the issues discussed in the campaign affect real people.
The website offers another reminder: that the Clinton campaign seems to be struggling to overcome the likeability factor. Her likeability, or lack thereof, still represents a big challenge for the former first lady, who is competing with Barack Obama and John Edwards for a win in Iowa on January 3.
Mark Penn, a top Clinton strategist and pollster, told USA Today it was important for people to understand the depth of Hillary. But Observer wonders whether depth is a trait you can sell on a website.

Is Juanita Broaddrick a regular American? I'd love to have her testimonial on Hillary's website. How about Billy Dale? Maybe Jim McDougal could add some insights. (Ooops, sorry, he's dead.) I know--Vince Foster--c'mon down!
Probably not related, but I was shopping at Wal Mart this weekend and noticed something interesting. They had Christmas cards available with political caricatures on them. The Hillary card had her heinous lying in bed smiling with a little White House dream bubble over her head. The inside of the card said, Im dreaming of a White House Christmas. The George Bush card had the big eared, big nosed caricature of GWB on it, dressed as a shepherd, and the caption, Why dont I ever get to be a wise man?
Nothing partisan about that.
How about a page with the reflections of Arkansas state troopers, Secret Service agents, and FBI agents who worked in close proximity to her? Then we’d have a more complete picture of the ‘real’ Hilde.
Or scared to talk!!
Contrast a site like this with one of people that know her but don’t like her/trust her/fear her. It should be massive and not too hard to compile.
They make better tootsie rolls, IMHO (smile).
I still haven’t figured out if this is a boy,a girl, or a transgender...
Ron Brown and the teenagers at Mena who were mysteriously killed are waiting in line...
Hillary speaks out too, endearing herself to everyone. Why, I think George Washington would be proud to hear the First Woman Presidential Candidate and all her oratory skills:
Where is the G-damn f**king flag? I want the G-damn f**king flag up every f**king morning at f**king sunrise.
(From the book Inside The White House by Ronald Kessler, p. 244 - Hillary to the staff at the Arkansas Governors mansion on Labor Day, 1991)
F**k off! Its enough that I have to see you shit-kickers every day, Im not going to talk to you too!! Just do your G*damn job and keep your mouth shut.
(From the book American Evita by Christopher Anderson, p. 90 - Hillary to her State Trooper bodyguards after one of them greeted her with Good morning.
If you want to remain on this detail, get your f**king ass over here and grab those bags!
(From the book The First Partner p. 259 - Hillary to a Secret Service Agent who was reluctant to carry her luggage because he wanted to keep his hands free in case of an incident.)
Stay the f**k back, stay the f**k away from me! Dont come within ten yards of me, or else! Just f**king do as I s ay, Okay!!!?
(From the book Unlimited Access, by Clinton FBI Agent in Charge, Gary Aldrige, p. 139 - Hillary screaming at her Secret Service detail.)
The only way to make a difference is to acquire power
(From the book Ive Always Been A Yankee Fan by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 68 - Hillary to a friend before starting law school.)
We just cant trust the American people to make those types of choices
. Government has to make those choices for people
(From the book Ive Always Been A Yankee Fan by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)
It would be a best seller OR banned by the Clinton crime family.
They come in waves -- last week it was about how tough Hillary was... kept reading it different places...
With regards to that unfortunate photo:
The words “rode hard and put away wet” come regrettably to mind.
This will come in handy. Thanks for posting.
No doubt. More stories like this will be forthcoming, i.e., "She DID NOT want this publicized, BUT, her unswerving and unselfish devotion to helping my sick and ailing child, husband, father, sister, mother, 1st grade teacher, when we were hammered by six figure medical costs, for which we had no insurance, showed to all her compassion and selfless contribution, blah, blah, f'n blah.
I don't think you want to attempt to find out... it wouldn't be prudent.
Is “Sax” a boy or dyke girl?
More like "She stopped fiddling and all the Wedding guests turned to stones".
The words rode hard and put away wet come regrettably to mind.
Never ridden and put away bitter.
