Mrs.SR and I get up Early before everyone else. I shuffle into the Kitchen turning on the Mantle Christmas lights and the Tree lights on my way to turn the coffee maker on.
Mrs.SR grabs the big Christmas bell and wakes all the rest of the house.
By now I’ve got the Lemon Sour Cream Christmas Coffee Cake that I made Christmas Eve sliced and the Apple Juice poured.
As all the pajama clad ones (for now just adult duaghter) enter out come the cameras, coffee gets poured, juice and coffee cake servings picked up.
Now the fun begins as presents get distributed one at a time to camera flashes, ohs and ahs as the gifts are unwrapped.
When all is done and under the tree is bare all go off to their rooms and get dressed.
That done, now comes more fun as I start cooking for the Christmas meal while Mrs.SR and all others set to work cleaning up the living room of all the torn Christmas wrappings.
Soon the house is full of the smells of Christmas Ham Cooking, Twice Baked Potatoes, Yams, Yeast Rolls, and Broccoli Cheese Casserole baking. Oh almost forgot, another pot of coffee going.

I watched Miracle on 34th St. again, last night with my friends. And, my vision got blurry again, like it does every year!
White Christmas does the same thing. Causes blurry vision.

Wonderful Christmas traditions, Sand. I enjoy that first turning on of the lights. And watching everyone, one and a time, open gifts is always lots of fun.
