They are in a closed door meeting with the Molly Yard NOW gang, the ones who are speaking up for the women who are beaten or killed for allowing themselves to be gang raped.

More Crickets, More Chirping, More disgusted with the ROP than ever.

I believe the problem is that the slaughtering isn’t taking place in a slaughter house, maybe that’s why there wasn’t an injunction against other slaughterhouses in the area.

“is it the government’s business to regulate these things”

No it is not, unless you support a fascist economic model*.

Private property, private seller, private buyer. Even if it is unsanitary, those involved are adults. If they accept the risk it is no business of government.

(*fascist does not mean Nazi. It means government regulation of private enterprise. It has become very popular in the United States.)

So, you think that the general public has no interest in public health? Interesting concept, but I don’t think one is fascist to think so. Now, go ahead and call me names. I could not care less.

I’m not calling you names. Fascism is a legitimate economic model. It is very popular. But because of it’s confusion with the Nazi’s it has gotten a bad name.

Some euphemisms for it are ‘Populism’, by people who like it and ‘Nanny State’ by people who don’t like it.

I prefer to use the original name, Fascism. It is neither an insult nor a compliment. It is an economic model.

I do not care! I do not like to think about it. As long as the animal does not suffer. Usually animals go to a quick death in the slaughter house. Unlike with the muslims who prolong the death process.

If you believe that willing yourself to not think about it kept your dinner from having suffered, you have another think coming

Animals in the slaughter house are killed in a different way, but not necessarily better. I've helped slaughter pigs and cows and have yet to see one that wanted to be there, regardless of how much care was taken. And care was always taken to be as gentle as possible.

The article clearing states that this would be mass slaughtering of animals NOT in a slaughter house. The farmer does not have a slaughter house on his farm, he just going to let the muslims slit 300 lambs throats in the barn. Kind of gross.

Also if you read or google this practice you’ll all see problems with this have be going on across the country. They aren’t always so clean about what to do with the left over parts.

Come on folks, these are people who don’t use sanitary practices as it is. Even more frightening is reading these articles and seeing what a large practice this is becoming as more and more and MORE muslims come to this country.

Mosques going up everywhere and this will just be the start of one of their “customs” that they will fight for the right to do because of their religious beliefs. What will be next?

Actually this religious based animal slaughter and feasting is pretty common across the Midwest. I know of several farmers that sell sheep and goats for such slaughter. Often it is done way back in the farmer’s woods with big campfires and drums beating and such.

This one just got too big and attracted some overeager bureaucrats wanting headlines for themselves.

I’m sorry I thought my response answered your question. I’ll try again.

I believe in freedom as opposed to slavery mascarading as the government taking care of me.

I am willing to take chances in life as that is what defines freedom. I am willing to accept the consequences of my bad decisions as that is what defines responsibility.

It is not the job of my government to intervene in the choices adults make that don’t effect others not involved in the action.

I want my government to protect me from attack and to provide street lights. I don’t want my government to tell me what kind of food I can eat.

“Christians sacrificed lambs too.”

Ahhhhhhhh No

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world...

He was the ultimate Sacrificial Lamb for the Christians...

Christians don’t sacrifice lambs or other animals...

Do you seriously mean to compare killing chickens and cows for food with CELEBRATORY SLAUGHTER in this case?
Think it’s the same, really?
Get a bunch of chickens and take them into your yard, invite your friends over to CELEBRATE killing them. Do some dancing and yodeling while you’re at it.
Think the authorities wouldn’t be at your door?
Or- buy a lamb. Take it to your place of worship and ‘sacrifice’ it. Think that would be allowed?
But Muslims...sure! We’re supposed to ‘understand’ their prehistoric ‘traditions’, right here in 2007 USA!
Don’t you see that the whole Islamic mindset is rooted in blood and slaughtering? They revel in it. They don’t want ‘symbolic’ sacrifice in modern times- it just isn’t the same without blood.
If we let them practice one barbaric custom it will set a precedent for every uncivilized ‘custom’ the Cult of Death calls holy. If they get away with animal abuse as a ‘cultural’ practice, our laws mean nothing.
And THAT is the point- our laws or Islamic laws.

From what I can find, animal sacrifice could only take place in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, which was destroyed in 70 AD; so no such activity since then. Even in Jesus’ time, prayer and repentence were considered more important than animal sacrifice to the Jewish people.

Some religions get it about true sacrifice, some don’t.

When I said “they” I was not referring to moslems. I was referring to people in the Bible who sacrificed animals. I guess since we hate moslems now, they can’t sacrifice animals.
