Are they two different people?
Russell is going to have to get side by sides, somehow. The contrast will be enlightening.
Oh, FGS. Timmy asks if Mitt is in favor of a mandatory prison term for anyone who hires illegals.
Good grief, you Republicans are so mean and punative.
I noticed that she always talked about the topics that "Iowans" said they wanted more information on. She never once referred to those people as "Iowa Republicans". I guess she is a promoter of open debates, where anybody can pick the topic she wants to talk about.
Please tell me Mitt answered “Yes”.
Excellent point.
I’d like to see Jerry Doyle attempt to get them both on. Doyle has done an excellent job of ripping Gurtha, although I disagree with him on half the stuff he talks about.
Write your favorite hosts, folks and suggest that they need to get on Russell!
And of course, Russert knows that presidents write laws.
Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Isn’t that what dems say?
He said that if employers are caught doing it, they will have to pay heavy fines, equivalent to the fines for not paying taxes.
MTP isn’t on until 10:30 here.
Mitt said he supports citizenship eventually for illegals after they go home and rub their tummys, or something.
sigh.
Well, he was not so nuts as to say first offenders should be jailed. He doesn't want them executed either. He wants to have a system where employers can verify status reliably. Then, if we have repeat offenders, he wants more severe punishment and I don't think he ruled out prison sentences in some cases, but I can't swear to that having gone to refill my coffee cup.
After Mitt said no, Russert said something like, “Well if you want to stop illegal immigration, wouldn’t you want the employers them to serve jail time?”
That had to have hurt.
All we need to know about her is that she is capable of laughing, but not when she is speaking to Republicans. The sour lemon face was not congenital, but situational at the R debate.
I hope every Iowan knows that she is an extreme partisan “editor.”
All the really good words have already been applied to other subjects. It's kinda how "golf" came to be called "golf"; all the really good 4-letter words were already used.
LOL.
Bill Clinton apparently showed a glimpse of his true self on with Charlie Rose last nite. on Fox & Friends, it was mentioned that his staff were begging Rose to shut off the interview as they could tell Bill was losing it.
I only hope that Hillary and Obama batter each other into a bloody pulp so that both candidates are damaged seriously.
I also hope that the polls and the MSM lose their own battle to hide Fred away and that he comes through. I sent him a little sumpin’ yesterday (and everyone knows how stingy I am.)
Hmm......Romney raised FEES and is against jailing illegal hiring employers. He’s a RINO.
amen that...the better half will sometimes say in that lovely voice (sarcasm)
soooooooooo are you gonna go play golf ?
I’d love to slap the person who put them two words together
I’ll look at her and say, you try it.....hardest playin’ I ever did..............
How is Mitt doing holding up to the little fat guy?
I thought Fred did extremely well. Brushed the little guy aside like a pesky mosquito.
