i support this cause and it’s a free country, but joey vento probably makes 3 million a year. plus all the free publicity he’s getting. no WAY he should be asking for money.
Great idea! Here is my email:
Your city's stance against Geno's Steaks and Joey Vento is hurting you tremendously. Your murder rate there alone is enough to drive tourists away in droves. Now you choose to alienate hard working (vactioning) Americans with your stance against the "Speak English" sign. My family and I will not be planning a trip to Philadelphia. Although, we may simply drive though there just to buy a sub from Geno's Steaks. ENGLISH IS OUR NATIONAL LANGUAGE!! If you don't like the sign, then don't patronize the establishment - simple enough!
All this prof can come up with is a ridiculous analogy that does not apply (the restaurateur is willing to serve anyone, simply requires that orders be placed in a language that he and his crew can understand) and calls of racism.
Racial discrimination and linguistic discrimination are not the same. A person cannot change his or her race, but he or she can learn an additional language. The professor must not have enough sense to realize this, after all she went to graduate school.
Give her an extra Hoo Rah! for me.
The professor, of course, accepts term papers and blue books in any language.
