ooo...our daughters public school Health teacher would NOT like this approach.
She made no bones about the issue when she was asked if she agreed with her husband on the subject of abortion.
The Uganda First Lady is RIGHT. Laura has been hunkering in her corner in fear of the P.C missle attack. One, two three, and Condoms is a last resort is a good protection.
I just got back from Africa, took 38 HIV orphans to the National Parks in Kenya, Africans know that they only REAL sure way to keep away from the deadly disease is to live monogamous, Being faithful, and not trust latex....
I’m celibate
You couldn't make that sh!t up, eh?
About what I’d expect from a lifelong Methodist.
The main reason Bush is not a real conservative is his wife.
Possibly, but he’s from an Episcopal background, and they are even worse than the Methodists these days.
But the president’s wife and Hillary share the same liberal religious heritage.
Might be true, thinking of biblical examples of wives leading their husbands astray, and away from God.
What does the ‘A’ stand for again?
Someone should tell Ugandan First Lady Janet Museveni.
...she encouraged the young people to practice "God-centered" self-control.
Janet Museveni knows and promotes what the "A" stands for.
So why is Laura Bush getting in trouble for promoting the same thing Janet Museveni is promoting?
Abstinence first.
While Laura Bush says use a condom "every time" Janet Museveni warns against using condoms.
"Don't give your airtime to anyone talking to you about using condoms," Ms Museveni said.
No, it’s his blue blood.
His sense of superiority fosters a liberal/condesceding instinct.
So Janet Museveni only wants A and B without C.
Laura Bush wants A, or B and C.
I wonder if Janet Museveni is Catholic and against birth control?
When George and Laura ran in 2000 and 2004,
they presented themselves as Christians.During this second term it is clear they lied to us.
They are both Pagans claiming to be Christians.
This issue and and giving G-d's city,
Jerusalem, to the Evil One,
not protecting our sovereign borders
demonstrates their true beliefs.
I could only find that she is a born-again Christian. Not too many Catholics use the term born-again to describe themselves so I can only speculate that she is not.
I don't think that's the point. What she is saying is Laura Bush, a regular attender at a very liberal Methodist church in DC, by the way (as well as being quietly pro-"choice" like her mother-in-law), wants C, B and a distant A.
The order Christians of all stripes should push is A, B, with C being distant or absent.
The miracle of THE MOST EFFECTIVE reduction of AIDS transmission in history, in Uganda, had nothing to do with condoms. These are tribal peoples, only now becoming Christians, who for untold generations have had loose sexual standards. This cultural background is why AIDS has spread like wildfire all over sub-Saharan Africa. Only when abstainance for the sake of moral purity--to please Christ--was taught, was AIDS gotten under control. Protestant or otherwise, it's a ridiculous situation when even so-called "conservatives" "preach" condoms.
