Forget the shopping and how hectic it is at this time of the year. Remember why we rejoice and the reason for the season. Leave politics alone for about five minutes and enjoy this. Every year at Christmas Mass, this brings me to tears. This is glorious, even with crappy computer speakers.
Remarkable.
This is glorious, Doug. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is the best.
FWIW, for everyone who disses Josh (which I cannot imagine), I love him all the more...:)
Thank you. And may you have a very happy Christmas as well.
Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli are going to be on Larry King Live (CNN) in 40 minutes! I may just do a quick ping......
Wow, too bad I don’t have cable.
My fav Christmas song, my fav artist. Perfection. Thanks for posting.
WILL SOMEONE RECORD IT, PLEASE?
I hope someone can. I can’t.
Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli on Larry King Live (CNN) in just a couple minutes!
Ping
How nice of you, Yorkie!!
I wish I had cable...Waaaahhh...:)
Oh, no! Larry King visited a little bit with Josh - and Josh talked about his childhood a little - and then he sad the Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on An Open Fire...). Orchestra back up was very good - especially the violins.
Now, Toby Keith is on (white cowboy hat of course). He just said he is heading back to the Middle East to spend some more time with the troops.
Toby Keith is now singing, “Little Drummer Boy”! Goose-bump night, fer sure!
Yay, Toby!!!!!
He will bring so much joy and laughter, a taste of home, to our troops.
Thanks, Doug! I added that to my site. Many Josh Groban fans over there. :)
After the rapper - he interviewed Randy Travis, who then sang “Labor of Love.
Now, Michael Buble is singing White Christmas.
I love Randy Travis, what a great voice he has. Thanks for keeping me up to speed on the show; is this Larry’s Christmas Special?
Yep, it’s Larry King’s Christmas Special. He said he would continue it next week. (I hope he doesn’t have another rapper!)
After Randy sang Labor of Love, Michael Buble sang White Christmas. I had never heard “Labor of Love”. Here are the lyrics:
It was not a silent night
There was blood on the ground
You could hear a woman cry
In the alleyways that night
On the streets of David’s town
And the stable was not clean
And the cobblestones were cold
And little Mary full of grace
With the tears upon her face
Had no mother’s hand to hold
It was a labor of pain
It was a cold sky above
But for the girl on the ground in the dark
With every beat of her beautiful heart
It was a labor of love
Noble Joseph at her side
Callused hands and weary eyes
There were no midwives to be found
In the streets of David’s town
In the middle of the night
So he held her and he prayed
Shafts of moonlight on his face
But the baby in her womb
He was the maker of the moon
He was the Author of the faith
That could make the mountains move
It was a labor of pain
It was a cold sky above
But for the girl on the ground in the dark
With every beat of her beautiful heart
It was a labor of love
For little Mary full of grace
With the tears upon her face
It was a labor of love
Here is the song on YouTube:

This one is new to me. What wonderful lyrics.
The YouTube isn’t working at the moment; I look forward to listening later, though.
I watched some childbirth videos two nights ago as part of my medical terminology class. Now, I am thinking of His birth in very real terms, and the young Mary seems even more real also, heavy with child and going into real labor.
It sounds like those lyrics came at a good time.
I needed kleenex after hearing Randy Travis sing it.
