Mitt Romney accused Mike Huckabee, his rival for the Republican presidential nomination, of attacking his religion yesterday after Mr Huckabee suggested that Mormons believe that Jesus and the Devil are brothers.

Mr Huckabee was referring to a Mormon belief that God created all beings, including Lucifer, who is regarded as a fallen angel. Mormonism does not refer to Jesus and the Devil as brothers.
Jan Shipps, a non-Mormon expert on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — as the Mormon Church is formally called — told The Times that Mr Huckabee’s remarks were a “perversion” of Mormon teaching popular among Southern Baptists.

Sort of a sad statement on politics when a pundit lists the reasons why Mike Huckabee might be hard to stop and lying just about tops the list. But how else should this be characterized?
2. Huckabee is unflappable, unfailingly genial, and willing to pleasantly deny the truth when it suits his purposes (such as claiming that he did not support the quarantine of AIDS patients in 1992).
I don’t bring family into it and he shouldn’t bring religion into it unless it is relevant. I’m not a Romney fan but there was no need for the remark. It was a cheap shot and was uncalled for. Not presidential thinking.

David Huckabee arrested for carrying a concealed weapon into security area of airport just this past April. Notice David Hucklebee is the one standing behind Mike Huckabee in the Gomer picture. Wouldn't you hate to have that bumpkin in The White House.

but to summarize - the NY Times interviews a Republican candidate and doesn’t release the whole text but leaks that he said something nasty about another candidate.
Am I wrong to “wait and see?”
The more we learn about Huckabee, we realize that Hucklebee is not qualified to run this country, he pardons criminals, doesn’t show respect to other religions, hasa limited education, solely educated in Baptist Religion, but really does not have any political science background, other than he became Governor of Arkansas, and by the way Hucklebee has a very spotty record there, as we read more on who Hucklebee is.
