"Van Diepen systematically refused to carry out direct orders from Bolton to enforce non-proliferation sanctions against Iran and North Korea , because he disagreed with the policy."

Call me nieve but isn't this TRAESON?... If this was nipped in the bud and someone was prosecuted, this game of theirs would be over!

I believe it goes much deeper than this book describes.
After researching the propaganda wars of the Middle East, I suspect remnants of the old Soviet Union to be behind it.

They [Clintonists] were eager to publish anything that did damage to this president, even if it put the lives of our intelligence officers or of our front-line troops in jeopardy . . . [they] owed no allegiance to the president of the United States. . . .

All Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) candidates are fundamental Clintonists to one degree or other; or perhaps they are divided as is Islam is divided into Shia and Sumni. No matter, their religion is superior to and puts followers beyond being American. It's a higher calling, the wave of the future: A Third Way.

This kind of stuff is what really worries me about having a radical Clintonist as president.

I am not concerned about Mr. Romney and Mr. Huckabee vis-a-vis the impact of their religious beliefs on the constitutional duties of the president but them Clintofascists are worrisome no matter which one should happen to be elected.

The Dems do a much better job than this president has done at protecting their own.

This has been true of the democ'Rats for many decades. It's much easier for them, they have the liberal MSM as firm allies ... if they need the heat turned up on someone they call the NY Times, Washington Post, etc.. Conversely if they need to short cycle a story that's detrimental to them ... their willing accomplices in the liberal media are only to willing to oblige.

It seems to me that the one who has done the most to undermine GWB is GWB himself.

I think this is the one that they are refering to. I also believed that I posted a thread debunking the finding of this biased report.

ts the State department that is the one important enemy of this country and always has been. They are lifers, cant be fired for the most part.

Now that e-mail trails exist in the world, a thorough investigation of the State Department would be most revealing. If properly prosecuted, literally hundreds would go to jail for malfeasance, perjury, corruption, and in some cases treason. The information-gathering by a special project at Justice should begin now (if it has not begun already). Political support for such an investigation should be built in the next two Congressional campaigns.

This will be one of the most important missions in our country's history. The background of this war against America goes back to the post-World War I era. It picked up steam during the Roosevelt and Truman administrations. The amateurs Mr. and Mrs. Valerie Wilson are just the latest manifestation.

It's hard to imagine now, but as the details come out, it will be clear that there are people who need a firing squad. Depending on what turns the WOT takes in the next couple of years, most Americans will support the house-cleaning.

The world today is in an interesting parallel to the script for the TV series, "Babylon 5" . I wonder if the idea for the plot came from an observation of present day world politics.

I don't believe Straczynski has ever explicitly stated such, but it was obvious, especially during Season Three with its repeated references by the heroes to loyalty to and defense of the Earth Alliance "Constitution" in the face of the illegal orders from public officials which were subverting the rule of law, that there was something there. It's pretty obvious we may be nearing a "Severed Dreams" scenario ourselves.

President Bush has himself to blame by not brooming all Executive Departments of these Clinton rump-swabs.

Well, it didn't take long for the first, "I blame Bush for not cleaning house" post. You would think that FReepers would have learned a lesson after the manufactured outrage over the Attorney General firings. If Bush had done this the MSM and the Democrats would have eaten him alive, slowly, for months, just like they did with the whole Plame non-issue.

A house-cleaning at that level could occur -- but it would take Congress to do it.

I wouldn't hesitate to think/know that a Dem White House and Congress would
sweep every Republican out the door on the first day.

The Rats fear their own medicine.

The black mark was the nomination for Nobel “Peace” Prize - the only political, anti-American and mostly worthless Nobel.

Regrettably, few people still cannot grasp the significance of what you note in your post. It is a whole different ballgame. It’s like the Democrats forever get the ball spotted on their opponent’s 5 yard line while Republicans always seem to start out at their own 5 yard line. The MSM advantage makes it easy for the Democrats to score, while we have to traverse the length of the field to score anything.

I personally believe this post barley dusts a corner of the surface of what Hillry’s shadow government has done. She is the most experienced elected government official in all of government, she had 8 years to establish her government and nobody was any the wiser. President Bush and Veep Cheney do have reason to call her formidable.
