Weren't they supporting the false god of GW/Climate Change earlier in the year? I think you're thinking of an article in the British press claiming that the Pope "was going to" and "was planning to" and "was about to do" thus-and-such.
All it was, was media speculation.

So I guess Al Gore will tell us the Pope is a Denier and on Exxons payroll
The Pope definitely is! After all, there's a horde of Papists on the Exxon payroll and they all contribute to the Catholic Church.

The Pope, and not Gore, deserves a Nobel prize.

Pope Benedict lost all credibility with me with the following statement re gay seminarians in 2005:
If instead it is a case of homosexual tendencies that are merely the expression of a transitory problem, for example as in the case of an unfinished adolescence, they must however have been clearly overcome for at least three years before ordination as a deacon.

Anybody notice that he got so-called social justice in there, and decried unilateral decision-making?

So I guess Al Gore will tell us the Pope is a Denier and on Exxons payroll. I thought we already knew that.

Pope Benedict lost all credibility with me with the following statement re gay seminarians in 2005: Are you Catholic? And have you read the entire document published by the Congregation for Catholic Education?

If instead it is a case of homosexual tendencies that are merely the expression of a transitory problem, for example as in the case of an unfinished adolescence, they must however have been clearly overcome for at least three years before ordination as a deacon. Do you think that a homosexual is going to lose his homosexual "tendencies" even if he remains celibate for three years? Is a leopard going to lose his spots, a tiger his stripes? Homosexuals are what they are, and they are attracted to the church because it is swarming with men.
Homosexual "tendencies"? Unfinished adolescence? A transitory problem? Overcome in three years? What nonsense!!! All of it! All it does is open the door to homosexuals with suppressed homosexuality, who will then act on it. Putting children in their parishes at risk.

"Pope Benedict lost all credibility with me with the following statement re gay seminarians in 2005: Since seminarians take an oath of celibacy what do you care who they are NOT doing it with? It seems like a pretty effective way to deal with urges and tendencies within the Christian framework of forgiveness and "hate the sin, love the sinner, doesn't it?
