A quick request, as I trust and value the prayers of all the saints on here...the daughter of one of my best friends is home sick from college with something they can't pin down. She is studying to be youth minister and as vibrant and wonderful as anybody you've ever met. Three weeks ago, she began running a 103 degree tempterature, and went in the hospital near Cleveland I think. Temp finally dropped but all her immunities are low' they've shipped her home to Cincinnat, but have "white roomed" her room at home, and in recent days she's gone back in the hospital. Four big-time doctor s have looked at her, all specialties, and they think it may be a virus that hasen't overcome yet(but the bottom line is that they really don't know.
Prayers sent.

I’m no saint, but God bless this young one and her family & friends. I’ll offer my worthless prayer.

I will have her in my prayers...being an Ohioan myself I can say that the hospitals in Cinci are phenomenal..my daughter once was hospitalized with a virus never Id’d what exactly, but high fever, very ill. Took awhile to recover... is great now. I pray the same for Chrissy.
God bless..and God speed.
We had a similar experience when our youngest daughter was in college. In the beginning her symptoms sounded like mononucleosis, but she tested negative. She was in the infirmary twice at school, and the doctor there took a personal interest in her because he had trained under our uncle. He kept our family doctor apprised of her condition, and he told us they were sending her lab reports to the best laboratory in the U.S. and doing everything he would do. The last time she got out of the infirmary, she jumped right back into college activities, and we got a call that she had broken out in a rash and they were calling in 4 specialists. We brought her home and our doctor called in an Internist who admitted her to the hospital immediately. She was tested for rheumatic fever, meningitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis plus other things, and couldn’t find what was wrong. A dermatologist was called in and had never seen 3 different types of rashes at one time...one type on her face, another on her torso, and a different one on her limbs. It was a very frightening time, so I can empathize with Chrissy’s parents and will certainly pray for her healing. They never diagnosed daughter’s problem, but thought it was a viral infection. The day before she was discharged from the hospital, they brought in a child from another university with the same symptoms. We did discover after going through our daughters meds from school that she had taken an antibiotic for strep throat twice, but quit taking it as soon as she felt better! I don’t know for sure, but we suspect this may have been at the root of her problems. I hope and pray Chrissy’s illness can also be treated and cured even if the doctors can’t put a name to it.

All prayer is worthy, but we don’t always get the results we want, nor as fast as we want them.

May God guide the doctors and bring back Chrissy’s good health.

A pastor from my home town was treated that way, and his condition got way worse. He now has no feet as a by product of his “medical care”. After the anti biotics, his symptoms drastically worsened. They put him on a drug to pool his blood in his internal organs and he lost so much circulation to his hands and feet that he got gangrene.
He is now fighting for his hands.
If it was my child, I would cut off all sugar and refined flours in her diet. Give her apple cider vinegar tonic to balance her Ph to alkaline, and give her a strong dose of anti fungal foods like raw garlic, ginger and cinnamon.
A good dose of oregano oil would be a big help too.
My bet is that the problem is a fungal blood infection and not a virus. The docs tend to say virus when they cant figure out the infection, but rarely look at fungus unless they are a recent medical school graduate.
If they prescribe anti biotics, run, dont walk to another doctor for a second opinion.
Anti biotics don't work on viruses, it will indicate they have no idea what they are doing and are just shooting from the hip.
Remember that modern pharmacology is based on poisons and that the Bible warned us about them. See a naturopathic doctor.
prayer bump
Prayers for Crissy and for wisdom among her caretakers. May there be one among them who is wise.
Sounds pretty scarey. Prayers up to her.
