COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.

UPDATED: 3:19 pm MST December 9, 2007DENVER -- Authorities said several people have been shot outside the New Life Church in Colorado Springs Sunday afternoon.
Reports indicated three to five people were shot in the parking lot just after 1 p.m. The late service would have been ending just at the shooting happened.
The victims were rushed to area hospitals to receive treatment said Fletcher Howard of the Colorado Springs Police Department.
One suspect was taken into custody, Howard said, and police were searching the area for any other suspects.
It is not immediately known if the shootings are connected with shootings earlier today at a missionary training center in Arvada.
Two people died in that incident.

They probably aren’t automatic. The press doesn’t know the difference between full automatic assault weapons and semi-automatic rifles and pistols. I have an AR15 and an AK-47. Pull the trigger once and they shoot one round.

The Fox babe annoyed me so much I had to turn it off. Speculating about the guy at YWAM being turned away as the reason for the shooting...then the other reporter saying the two can’t be linked because the other shooters had bullet proof vests. It was getting too much to listen to.

I heard that idiocy...why would they call of the search? Unless they already know that the shooters are the same up in Colorado Springs..but that doesn’t make any crime investigation sense either. You cover your bases.

Yep an employee of Lockheed Martin used that indoor range in Meridian, Ms a few years ago ... he used human targets!
I dunno, using a pressure sensitive explosive instead of a T bar would probably achieve the same goal.
I think the target range is associated with the law enforcement classes at Pikes Peak Community College. I know the south campus has one. If it is the same set up as at the south campus, they are not generally open to the public and wouldn’t be used on Sundays due to no classes being held.
Why'd it take so long for them to figure that out? They've only been declaring it "non-terrorist" related while shootings were even still going on for years now.....they truly think we are as stupid as they.
