Huckabee on Fox now clarifying his immigration stance. He is now advocating what amounts to be a touchback provision that will take days and weeks not years. This is a scam similar to the Pence plan. It is amnesty.

I looked and that is the original posting and the Austin paper just did a reprint. I wonder if the WA Post had that story in their “dead tree” edition? If not, most of the Sheeple will never see that article.

The Washington Times had a photo of the Bushes and the Romneys at President Bush’s library after Romney’s speech. It was amazing how similar both men are in their looks. A photo of George H W Bush at the same age as Romney would make people wonder if they were related. Yet I don’t remember ever hearing criticism of GHWB being too goodlooking to be electable.

Huckabee just stepped into it big time in terms of immigration. The vast majority of illegals in this country couldn’t qualify for a tourist visa let alone an immigrant visa. I hope that Thompson, Romney, Hunter, and Tancredo jump all over this.

Timmy asks Rudy how long will troops be in Iraq. “As long as necessary to achieve our stratigic objective” says Rudy.

I wish rudy would point out the fact that a military strike is off the table if we wait too long: Once they have a stockpile of nuclear material it would be impossible to strike without causing a humanitarian disaster.

BINGO! Huckleberry’s Plan amounts to amnesty!

When establishing confidence levels, it is all about the analyst's assumptions.
In Iran, let's see...

We can either start with Imanutjob
a. is a rational, thoughtful, peace loving individual

or we can say

b. is crazy as he!!.

Any doubt what the writers of this estimate went with???

John Podesta's liberal site is questioning why dems didn't object to waterboarding in '02? .

The immigration plan should be this:

1. Build the fence.
2. Kick every illegal alien in this country that sits in a jail out.
3. When the illegals rally and riot, round them up and ship them home.
4. Revoke the welfare of any illegal alien, search them down and ship them out.
5. Revoke “anchor baby” citizenship.
6. No allowance of return, legal or illegal. Failure to comply gets them sent to Gitmo.
7. Crack down on employers who employ illegal aliens.
8. Make English the official language.

You know I’m not a Huckabee supporter but didn’t he allow the death penalty to be used in Arkansas a number of times? At least he did make that decision which is more than other candidates have done, as far as I know. I’m not convinced he has the character to manage the military but I thought it fair to point that out.

Correct, Morgan. Huck did not obstruct the use of the death penalty.

I can't believe that Chris Wallace actually said "Thank you for giving us STRAIGHT ANSWERS"?!?!?! Um... are we kissing up for the next interview in two weeks or something?

McCain up on FNS. Looking much better.

Agreed. And that is why I am really more interested in who the dem candidate is. If this keeps up much longer, a dem will be president. And who? The incomparable horrible HC or the airy, elegant, empty Obama controlled by others.

Huckabee responds, “I didn’t say what the pathway was....”

Well, let's start with something simpler...

What's your definition of "is"?

My first impression of Huckabee came during CPAC earlier this year. He gave a good, solid talk. Toward the end of his speech he said, "I was a poor boy from Hope, Arkansas."

I shuddered. Since that moment, I've never been able to support him. If we never have a President from Hope Arkansas again, it will be too soon.

After watching him on the cable stations the last several weeks ... I've noticed he's very slick with his words too

Huchabee right at the end of his FNS appearance continues to defend his water boarding is torture claim. Then says nobody knows more about this issue than the next guest John McCain. I disagree with both of them.

'Why are you not saying this?' and he explained. I can't quote him. All I can say is that he has Abraham Lincoln-honorable reasons ... he has chosen not to say certain things. But (the Iraq war) is going much better than people think."

I think the President is wrong on this. The DBM and Dems are chewing him to bits, and putting our nation and even Western civilization in peril with their greedy quest for power and their failed socialist-utopian theories.

The President needs to--once and for all--speak out loudly, strongly, and unceasingly!
