When I was cleaning out the toyroom of my mother’s house a few years ago, I found a doll (not a Ken doll) that looked exactly like GHWB. No one had any recollection of how it got into that toy storage room. That was when I realized that Bush41 had the classic comic book good looks as Dick Tracy or Clark Kent, etc.
Personally, I am voting for a president who can go to the UN or any of the other meetings of world leaders and look them in the eye and say what needs to be said on the occasion.
No democrat fits that requisite, and only a few Rs do it for me. Huckabee is not one of them!

I just watched Mr. “Aw Shucks” Huckabee and know now that I’m a roll.
First, I spent a couple of hours last night reading and researching this man and what I learning is horrifying.
I speak of that fine rapist and murderer Huckabee got released for God knows what reason although it’s suspect, Wayne DuMond. DuMond went on within six months after his released to rape and smother a mother of six children and he is strongly suspected in another murder.
Two women died horrifically because of this toothy alleged minister who lies so much he makes Bill Clinton look like a piker.
The story of DuMond is riveting. And Huckabee got that man pardoned by the Arkansas parole board don’t let him say not,

Selling pardons, it would turn out, is a fine tradition in Arkansas.
Huckabee pardoned a man who murdered two women in cold blood within six months. If you or I did our job so awfully we’d have been fired, much less run for President. The thought of having the man who let him out of jail being our president makes us little better than Saudis in our disdain of women.
We already have guest worker programs that allow several million to be in this country legally. We need to change our legal immigration policies to a merit based system. We should be able to pick and choose who we want and not have immigration driven by family reunification and chain migration.

You are absolutely right. The “anchor baby” birthright citizenship only furthers and legitimizes the concept of chain migration. “Well, if this baby’s an American citizen by birth, you wouldn’t prevent a mother from raising her child, would you?” (sad eyes)
In fact, eliminating the anchor baby would in fact be far more humane than the current system since it would keep families together. If you want to become an American, get in line and learn how to be a good American. Encourage your family to do the same if you really want to stay together.

We need to change the composition of our current legal immigrant intake, reduce the numbers, and go to a merit based system. You may find this interesting in terms of the demographic impact immigration is having upon our country.
Rudy is explaing to the hideous Mr. Potato Head that having a security detail hanging around 24 hours a day and basically running your life is not necessicarily the most fun thing in the world.
