40 minutes into Rudy and still no policy issues, except Russert's NIE interpretation that Iran's supposed stoppage of their nucleur weapon program in '03 had nothing to do with our victory in Afghanistan, Saddam's take-down, or Khadafi's white flag, as Rudy reminded.

We could do worse than Rudy as president...although he's not my #1, but I'd be OK.

Russert shows every poll he can find showing Rudy tanking...Rudy keeps asking "where's the Florida poll?".."I wish you'd shown Florida". "Where's Florida?" LOL

Old Media is FPOS.

Same here. He's smart enough and he's tough enough.

The one thing I worry about with Rudy is the judge issue. We all know Ginsburg’s in poor health, and most of those judges are getting up there in age, making the selection of judges all the more important. The last thing we need is another Warren or Burger court. Rudy’s track record in NYC wasn’t so hot.

Bush has had a very good record with judicial appointments (Harriet Miers aside) and one thing the next President will need to do is pick up where he left off.

Judges, 2nd amendment, abortion, gay issues.

Rudy has many questions attached to him.

That and why would woman vote for Rudy in any numbers, his divorces have been “nuclear”.

Just started reading the thread and will go back and watch some of the TIVO'd morning shows. I'll take my lead from the one's recommended on the thread.

1. Many of "us" would be OK with Rudy; after all he's not Clinton/Obama/Democrat but he's no Reagan either.
2. Some of "us", not me, would be OK with Huck. Why? I just don't see him as my President. He is very weak on foreign policy, immigration, & taxes just for starters.
3. Fred? Many of "us" would be OK with him, me included. Is he electable? Maybe; but he's got to pick up the pace.
4. Mitt? Good man? Definitely, but I don't think he's electable but that's jmho.
5. What "us/we" must decide is who among our plethora of candidates will pull the most votes from the "undecideds", is truly electable, and back him 100%, even if we have to hold our noses and "pull the lever".
6. Or we can all pull for our very own #1 "makes me feel good" candidate and then bitch, moan, and gnash our teeth for the next 8 + years while the Democrats take this country rapidly toward their ultimate goal. Socialism.
