Live on FoxNews, CSpan and CNN right now.
I just thought I'd start a thread for anyone who wants to discuss it.
Too many people are rooting for one liberal over the other. I don’t even do that in my party....why would I do that here.
I hope all the dems fail in the primary...how about that?
Your assessment is absolutely correct. It’s obvious Oprah was out of her element and her speech/talking points were not from her gut. It was repetitive and certainly poorly thought out (or not thought at all).
Obama continues to ramble on with his same rhetorical nonsense and added nothing new (let alone a new speaking delivery, etc.). Of course, when was the last time the Democrats or the DNC playbook added anything new...1932 with the New Deal?
Don’t you just want to “evolve” with her and Barrack?
Oprah is doing a great job doing the job that needs to be done - Weakening and wounding Her Heinous.
Thank you Oprah, for that.
Oprah’s support can only help Obama. Her main audience is lower income white women over 50, which is Hillary’s target group...she must get those votes to win.
Not a big fan of Oprah myself, but all in all, it is a good thing.
Oprah, The “I feel your paid while I pull your strings” gal.
That should be pain not paid.
Giggle. Obama/Oprah are just as bad.
Free campaign advertising for Democrats.
‘So, I guess shes endorsing him because they share the same skin color?’
Just a plain, STUPID statement. A turn off to people considering a switch to conservatism.
I guess Barbara Streisand is supporting Hillary because she is white. Does that support make her a racist or a sexist?
Again...just plain stupid. I know you are capable of better than a statement like that.
I've got nothing against Oprah, although I like her a lot less than I used to (since she's become "Saint Oprah, Queen of the World"), but I just don't understand why so many millions of women literally hang on her every utterance, however vapid and self-important.
Terri Johnson of Urbandale, Iowa, lined up about two hours before the Des Moines event with three of her five children along. She said she had not been involved much in politics before, but was drawn to the rally by both Oprah and Obama. "I would have voted for him without her, but it's nice to see Oprah," Johnson said, joking that she hoped Winfrey would have one of her famous giveaways. "I'd love to get a car."
Oh, just wait, honey. Maybe if Obama gets the nomination, he will will propose one of the dem giveaways and promise new cars to those who need them. Just a small tax on the 'rich' will get these folks their constitutional right to a nice car.
If I could ask one question of Obama, it would be this.
Mr Obama, how do you expect to lead this country’s soliders in the war on terror when you cant/wont lead them in the Pledge of Allegiance or the National Anthem?
Wonder how long it would be before I would be escorted out by LEft wing goons or SEIU morons?
Good grief is right!
Oprah thinks she can nominate and put the next U.S. in the White House..
Good post!
.
Thanks potlatch!
Whatt zoo at the DNC!
