I’m pretty much speechless here...

Let me explain something, OK? A few years ago, a Freeper posted a story about a micro-preemie baby. Through a series of events, his parents found out about FR and have become posters due to the PRAYERS AND KIND WORDS said on that thread.

Had they been subjected to the ridicule that you people have posted here regarding NAMES!!!!!!!!!!........I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’d feel.

For Pete’s sake, be kind...have your posts removed by the mods, and take it up in FRmail. Yuk it up all you want behind the scenes, OK?

This man lost his WIFE, the mother of his CHILDREN! Who cares what those babies are named???!!!

You are absolutely correct.

Somehow the thread got sidetracked to trivia instead of the real picture.
Sorry for my involvement in it.

Raising triplets as a single father is going to be more than difficult.
Prayers to the family.

Stick with being Brad’s gramma. I have my own and my own opinion. Like it or not.

Thanks BG....

I was sitting here with my jaw dropped at the brattiness of the thread. A man just watched his wife die, his kids ae without a mother, and somehow between all of this, he's got to grief and be a father at the same time.

Sheesh, the names may be family names, surnames, Grandpas name, the names the MOTHER wanted or dreamed of naming her kids.

All these insults being posted by folks with silly made up internet names.

I agree with you, BG. We’ve had another very special young couple join FR recently, as you know. Her new husband is an outstanding young man who lost both legs in Iraq.

One of her first questions was about why someone had posted that they didn’t like her name!

As a mother, I would think that a lot of love went into the choice of names for this dead mother’s babies. None of us has the same preferences in anything - including names. It is a shame that one of the last things she did for her sons is being ridiculed in light of such tragic events.

Gramma, all that goes without saying. We all feel sorry for a guy who has lost his wife and has three infants to raise. Nobody is ridiculing him because of the names. But even in tragedy there is humor. Like when my favorite uncle died. Upon entering the church we saw a big pile of individual boxes of Kleenex. A letter from him read by his daughter to the mourners said that he wanted everyone to have his own box of Kleenex and if someone didn't take one, he'd come back as a ghost and haunt him. That made us miss him all the more, but it didn't stop us from laughing.

Try to stop being so one-dimensional and learn to discern better.
