I met up with OCCASparky at the Draught Pub in Rochester, NH and we prepared to confront the commies from Farmington Peace Action at the Monument.
I checked out Osama's HQ, no Masshole rapist loonies with fake bombs and hostages, the same condition existed or seemed to exist at Hitlery's HQ a few doors up, so I figured that this would be a rather a mundain show the flag operaton.
We set up and waited for the commies to show at 1725. They straggled in the Ur Hippy and the commie lawyer, his hag, and a couple of others, a new dude with a Veterans for Peace flag showed, we were not close enough to check bona fides, another time.
Things we going along as usual, we got some honks and waves from Patriotic Citizens, they got some honks from the usual trash, hippies and govenment school drop outs all and all a usual New Hampshire freep.
This is an aside. I have been FReepin' a long time, Boston, NYC, DC, Conn, Maine, in Boston I helped organize them and helped out in the others. When I moved to NH I descided on a no FReep alone rule and here is why.
At about 1800 Sparky and I are BS'n, talking politics, and waving at traffic a normal FReep. A guy and a skank come walking down the road beside us and asks who we are with and points to the commies across the street, he smelled of deamon rum, maybe some THC thrown in.
He then asked us if we were prowar or antiwar, I told him we were neither we were here showing some support for the men and women fighting the war. He got rather abusive, the F modifier was used without elagence, we were called faggots, he may have troubles with his sexuality, transferance, and then departed across the street showing us his IQ by hand signal.
He hung with then for a nonce, his skank choggied on down the road, and then he came back to our area and proceeded to act in a very ungentimanally manner, belligerent and threataning manner, calling Sparky out to a fight. My impression, Sparky can give a better report.
I called 911, it was that serious, I have been to and caused near riots on Boston Common and have never had to call the cops. He wanders off, "HA, HA, they called the cops on me, faggots."
He came back a while later and made some rather flippant remarks and then wandered off across the street and up North Main Street.
After the trauma, the stress, and because I am old and needed a tonic, we repaired to the Draught Pub for libations.
The Gold Star on the Forehead goes to Sparky for keeping his cool in TRUE FReeper fashion.

A wingman to watch your back and a witness, if need be, is always a good idea.
Raoul is one of the FReepers brave enough to FReep alone and has told officers, “in my time as an adult, the only people who’ve hit me or challenged me to fight have been peace protesters.”
After dealing with peace protesters, my police officer relative said “for being in favor of peace, they sure aren’t very peaceful.”

Hope the cops follow up, especially since they’ll probably find wacky weed on him when they pick him up.
Typical behavior. The only threat I've ever received in my adult life (other than a moron I put in his place during my Air Foce enlistment) was from a Democrat operative calling me anonymously on the phone.
I told him if he tried to make good on his threat he'd need a coroner when I was done with him. I never got another call...
My Parting words to the Desk SGT, you probably know him. The nice thing about it is the Peace Commies were present and this ahole was one of them, over time there are possibilities.
Without description, I’d be willing to bet that I know who the “new dude” with the veterans for peace flag is. (he from two towns over, a one time carpenter, long time State Social Services administrator.) Sorry to hear that he’s now resorted to associating with the kind of ugly/ beligerant scenemaker that you were so rudely subjected to.
I once was FReeping by myself on one of the 3 corners not occupied by the leftists. I had left the safety of the FReepers on our regular corner. I brought 6 double sided signs with me,(trading signs occasionally), and some leftists snuck up on my and stole half my signs. It was a drive by, with one of them grabbing the signs and diving into a pickup truck that stopped briefly. LOL!
I came back the next week with even more signs, and a camera. They were not amused when I started taking photos of them just in case they tried it again.
