I have lived in “Tornado Alley” nearly all my life and have
been lucky enough not to have ever seen one for reals.
When we moved to Germany....they had had a tornado go through
our little town about 2 weeks before we got there. I felt
very lucky to have missed that! I didn’t even know there
were tornadoes in Germany!

I lived in Germany for half of my life and didn’t know that either.
Maybe because we never did experience one in our Region.
