Code Pink Giving Money to Terrorists in Iraq (Again?)
Friday, December 7, 2007 | Kristinn

Posted on 12/07/2007 1:05:39 PM PST by kristinn

In a reprise of its notorious December 2004 delivery of $600,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to the 'other side' in the then al Qaeda controlled Iraqi city of Fallujah as American forces were fighting to liberate the city from the terrorists, the anti-American group Code Pink is again raising money to send to an al Qaeda stronghold in Iraq.

Several weeks ago, Code Pink announced that it was soliciting money to send to Nineveh province to aid "Iraqi orphans, widows and internally displaced people."

It just so happens that Nineveh province is where al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents have recently regrouped after having been routed from Anbar province and Baghdad.

Code Pink says it will not name who they are dealing with in Iraq because "They work under the radar so we need to keep them anonymous..."

A message from Code Pink's contact in Iraq states, ""Our organization has succeeded in opening a new branch in the north in Nineveh Province. We now have five branches. We also have arranged a special medical clinic that provides free services for widows & orphans in Abu-Ghraib. We have enough funds to run this clinic for three months and hope to receive more financial assistance to keep it going. We are walking a long and difficult road in Iraq and try to focus on the good we can do for people here so we don't feel hopeless. Thank you to the women of CODEPINK for your continuous work to bring freedom and peace to my country."

Clinics that cater to widows and orphans are not normally operated 'under the radar', unless those operating them are using them for nefarious purposes.

Given that Code Pink rejects the legitimacy of the freely elected Iraqi government and has endorsed the terrorists trying to destroy that government, there can be little doubt that Code Pink is once again funneling aid to our terrorist enemies in Iraq so that they can continue to kill American soldiers and free Iraqis.

Code Pink's statement on its fundraiser: "When you donate to CODEPINK this week, half the proceeds will go toward assisting Iraqi women and children, and half will go toward funding our continuing actions on Capitol Hill. Your donation will work to end the occupation and help repair the awful damage this military misadventure has wrought."

Reading messages, wishing I had not taken the night off from WR for health reasons (I already have a cold).

Is the new ping list three pages long?

If they are in Iraq, let the Iraqi’s arrest them...and put them in Abu Grahib for supporting the terrorists!

You're an "M" Freeper, maica. M for maica, get it?

:-)

Sauropod said he wasn't getting pinged when we sent out one big ping, so BufordP split the ping list into thirds.

We are hoping that Sauropod is not left out this way.

Come to think of it, maybe Sauropod isn't getting his "big list" pings because he isn't logged in. In that case, BufordP went to alot of trouble for nuthin'. Shhh, don't tell him, or he'll start yelling.

However, this will help get our soldiers killed just as surely as if they were sending AK-47s.

Yes it will. Does the government give a rat's rear?
NO, no they do not. If they did 1/3 of CONgress and the Pinkos would be in prison right now.

eveyrone one of us should write and demand congressional hearings.

LOL! You are kidding, right?
John al Murthawi, Jon Effin Carry, Pelousy, Dingy Reid, Turban Durbin, David Obey, Kookedspinich and Ru Paul are probably the pinko's largest contributors.

You are all aware the commies were just arrested in Pakistan aren’t you? If we were going to do something about them they would have been denied entrance back into the states.

Pakistan grabs Code Pink protesters

Pakistan to deport Code Pink protesters

Ms. Benjamin and Mr. Barry plan to fly back to Washington tomorrow. (arriving at JFK Thursday, Dec. 6)

It is sad that Code Pink has any credibility. They are now back here CLAIMING that they were abused and mistreated in Pakistan. They could say almost anything about their experiences there to make Pakistan look bad. These people are masters of media manipulation and I almost guarantee that the naive press will buy their claims hook line and sinker.

I suggest that they went with the intent to get arrested and deported and that they cooked up horror stories about being abducted at gunpoint and having guns pointed at them in a car. I suggest that they timed it perfectly to coincide with hearings in Congress related to funding authorizations for Pakistan.

This is more cooked up phony baloney for a hungry press that will buy almost anything Code Pink puts out. Doesn’t it seem funny that the first thing that happens when they come back is one of them goes to Congress to get arrested during a hearing that happened to be in progress on funding for Pakistan. This was all too perfectly timed and the stories perfectly cooked up.

Welcome to FreeRepublic!

Good analysis...except for one issue.

I almost guarantee that the naive press will buy their claims hook line and sinker.

The enemedia is not naive. They are partners in the phony baloney. I have watched the enemedia virtually ignore 30-40,000 patriots while fawning over and reporting on every move 4-10,000 pinkos and their cohorts make.

I have watched as 28 members of code pink receive massive attention and reporting while 142 patriots barely receive mention that they were there.

I honestly don’t know what a “Z” ping list is, or whether I’m on it or not.

HST, I got the ping! TYVM!

maybe Sauropod isn't getting his "big list" pings because he isn't logged in. In that case, BufordP went to alot of trouble for nuthin'

Either his pings are being misdirected or, more likely, he is too busy to respond even when logged in. I suspect your latter "trouble" thesis is correct.

I used the old mega-ping at reply #2, instead of the 3 way split pings for this thread: BACK FROM THE DEAD AT WALTER REED, WHY WE FREEP #137.

At reply #4, I individually pinged sauropod and asked if he got the #2 mega-ping.

That was two days ago, but no answer yet, even though he posted 10 hours after that individual ping.

I'm not criticizing 'Pod. He's just a busy guy, probably gets overwhelmed with pings. Otherwise, he's courteous enough that he would have at least responded to the individual ping.

I just thought that we should not have re-arranged our ping structure without further investigation.
