Tiggles, did you get the response you were looking for? Didn’t think so.
:-)

Bill, what exactly were you able to deduce based on your findings? Nothing.

My deduction is that the reason ‘Pod likely missed the mega-ping here at #2 http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1935918/posts?page=2#2 is b/c he was too busy or gets an overwhelming number of pings, this being the same reason he missed the individual ping here at #4 http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1935918/posts?page=4#4

Thus, tgsl is right. Splitting the ping list is trouble for nothing, no benefit.

‘Pod, if you’re getting any pings these days, please check in and let me know if you got the mega-ping to DC Chapter list at #2 as linked two paragraphs up.

Also, did you get the second ping at #4 as linked two paragraphs up?

You deduced with a crystal ball or had your palm read. Or maybe ‘pod is just ignoring you.

Maybe he ignored whatever mega-ping set off the 3-way split fubar.

At any rate, tgsl suggested via another communication that a 3-way alpha split is wrong, but the following 8-way split is more logical:

NAMES WITHOUT NUMERALS IN THEM

-names beginning with a vowel, ending with a vowel

-names beginning with a vowel, ending with a consonant

-names beginning with a consonant, ending with a vowel

-names beginning with a consonant, ending with a consonant

NAMES WITH NUMERALS IN THEM:

-prime numbers

-fractions

-even numbers

-odd numbers

She volunteered you to perform the sorting.

Why don’t we just whiteout that tid bit of “Aid and Confort to the Enemy” after all, in a “living document” it’s irrelevant. </.sarcasm>

I’ll just tell ‘pod that I spent all of 30 seconds splitting the list up 3 ways, you and a few others spent several days belaboring the whole issue, and that you can’t be bothered.

Well, to some degree, you are all correct.

I am not getting all my pings, I do get a lot of pings from different ping lists, and I have been frightfully busy at work these past few months.

Do I get a cookie?

Albion posted: "I ping dead people."

They're with us in spirit.

Also, since dead people vote, shouldn't they be informed too?

Seriously, you're right about not pinging people on the list, who are known to be dead. Toward that end, I'll remove MrConfettiMan (RIP, Joe) when I send out the next updated ping list.

However, since there is no postage or paper costs, I don't see a benefit of pruning people from the DC Chapter ping list simply b/c they haven't posted in a given time period, even the pruning could be done without a laborious process. Many people hardly ever post, even though they read FR.

"Do I get a cookie?"

You can do better than that if you get your butt over to the DC Freeper Christmas party. I think there are about 11 pies being brought.

The government won´t do anything. They didn’t do anything when the traitors in our universities sent medicine and comfort to the NVA in Vietnam.

I believe you are correct, and it's disappointing to say the least.

However, this is a different era, an era of internet, blogs, talk radio, and even a sliver of cable news.

some enterprising reporter or blogger may just chase this down.

Not the same as the government prosecuting, but better than them getting away with it unseen.

...Several weeks ago [in late 2007], Code Pink announced that it was soliciting money to send to Nineveh province to aid "Iraqi orphans, widows and internally displaced people."
It just so happens that Nineveh province is where al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents have recently regrouped after having been routed from Anbar province and Baghdad.
Code Pink says it will not name who they are dealing with in Iraq because "They work under the radar so we need to keep them anonymous..."

2008 : ( "CODE PINK FOR PEACE" COFOUNDER JODIE EVANS WORKS AS A BUNDLER FOR THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN) A founding member of the [2008] campaign finance team of Democratic presidential nominee Illinois Sen. Barack Obama has been working with state sponsors of terrorism to undermine the United States in the global war on terror since at least February, 2003. Jodie Evans, co-founder of the leftist anti-American group Code Pink, has documented ties to governments on the State Department’s list of current and former state sponsors of terrorism including Iran, Cuba, Syria and the former Iraqi government under Saddam Hussein. She also has endorsed and worked with the so-called Iraqi resistance that has killed over three thousand American soldiers and thousands of free Iraqis. Evans is listed on the official Obama website as a bundler of between $50,000 and $100,000 in contributions. According to FEC reports, the official Obama website and news accounts, Evans has personally contributed over $40,000 to the Obama campaign—$4600 to Obama for America and around $36,000 to the Obama Victory Fund. ------------- "TOP OBAMA CAMPAIGN FINANCIER WORKING WITH STATE SPONSORS OF TERRORISM TO UNDERMINE U.S.," FREEREPUBLIC, by Kristinn Taylor, Friday, October 10, 2008
