Why did he have to view and store the porn to write a book?

Dennis Prager says that from the original Hebrew it is: Thou shalt not murder.
There is a big difference. We have the right to kill in self-defense, in defense of our country, and to put murderers to death.

"As part of the research for the book, Weinberg says Ward acquired several images of child porn from websites, and "he exchanged them with adults who do the same thing."?

talk show host and former Catholic priest, has been indicted on federal child pornography charges Too bad he didn't work for a country "music" radio station.
Incest laws are much softer than kiddie-porn laws.

Another priest does it.
He's not a priest. But nice try, boys.
Sorry.

You and Martin are both pretty quick on the draw.

For those who have never listened to KGO, even worse than Bernie is Ray Tagliafaro.

Here's the
Peninsula Press Club story on the matter.
Also, here's a link to ba.broadcast, the Usenet forum where Bay Area radio engineers and on-air talent sometimes hang out.

Clerk “Order please.”
Bernie “One Big Mac, with extra cream sauce; and make sure it isn’t aged”
Clerk “Ya want lies with that?”
Bernie “No, but I’ll take an order of small Lays.”
Clerk “Here ya are.”
Cops “You’re under arrest!”
Bernie “But this is just RESEARCH!”
Prosecutor “Oh? then, WHERE’S THE BOOK?”

Best of luck to Jack Swanson KGOs operations director who has to deal with this... Hee... hee... hee...
Jack Swanson is also director at KSFO, which will be a LOT of fun to listen to tomorrow morning, because Swanson's wife is Melanie Morgan, the co-host of The Morning Show with Lee Rodgers.

I don’t want to defend him, but if they found 2 or 3 images in 2004, why is he being indicted now?

next they will say Bush got rid of the Federal Judges just to go after Bernie Ward.
Since his attorney has already admitted he downloaded them on the air, it seems like a slam dunk.
To: BurbankKarl
oh, and that the illegal Bush Patriot Act wiretaps got him.
I can see it now....if it was a local court the jury would eat it up. But the federal court, not so sure.
