It took guts for Romney to give this speech.
And it takes guts for each of you to make positive postings about Mitt Romney on this forum, postings that have been inspirational and uplifting to me.
It was a great speech, well-delivered. I noted that Mitt even showed some nervousness. Guess what, he is human and he does have conviction.
Laura Ingraham just played the Sam Adams line. Very good that. Slam down the mugs and go get the Redcoats inspiring.
The only other person I can think of who could deliver such an awesome, inspirational speech is Reagan! It was simply magnificent. I am so proud of Mitt and so proud to be a Mitt supporter! : )
I'm shocked it has come down to this.

Is there a video of it online, I missed it. Transcript would do as well.
I could not watch the speech because a wind storm has our satellite service on the blink. It won’t be working again until this Friday. I hope I get a chance to see the speech.
However, from what I have read of the excerpts, the message was refreshing, strong, inspiring and in keeping with our country’s foundational beliefs.
I am NOT a Mormon and I am not even a very good Catholic. I simply believe in God and I believe our Founders were right.
Will I vote for Romney? I don’t know yet, but his choice of religion will NOT impact my decision.
Just logged in! Looks like a lot of favorable reaction around here. It re-airs at 9pm eastern on C-Span2. I can’t wait to see it.
Rush Limbaugh had some very nice things to say about the speech.
Wow! I realy liked the speech, it was gutsy and showed the power of conviction. I have hopes for Fred Thompson, but Mitt is on my short list now.
